To no one's surprise, "will still be a while" and "there are worlds that still remain untouched"

ETA 2025, KH is currently on a fucking 15 year plan. Most overrated shit of all time.
So really loose rumor, but apparently both Marvel and Square Enix have posted that a big announcement will be made tomorrow, which made RPG Site speculate maybe the announcement of a Marvel world for KH3: https://twitter.com/RPGSite/status/824277004870504449
Sora vs Hulk what is this life is it gamefaqs?
At this point, given Disney's properties, they'd be just leaving money on the table to not have Marvel New York City and Coruscant or something. I'm gonna lose my shit when Sora takes a plain hilt and then a light saber keyblade comes out, man.
I agree that its inevitable to happen, but my initial reaction is that I am against this.
FF characters existing has been explained by them being from Radiant Garden as a catch all for FF character origins. Otherwise, the Disney portion of inclusions have been linked to their respective worlds and mostly, if not entirely, limited to properties Disney created themselves.
To me it kind of destroys the set-up between traveling to Beasts Castle, then to Agrabah, and then SUDDENLY IRONMAN AND THOR!
Lore wise, these keyblade wars have gone on how long, with no mention of Jedi or the Avengers, and then suddenly 'Hey Obi-wan, thanks for the lightsaber!"?
Yeah, I'll get geeked up about it. No doubt. But it does kind of kill the set-up.
Adding Deadpool though... I'd be okay with some 4th wall action.
Fuck the lore. You can't combine disney and final fantasy and then not use some of the best disney properties because it would damage the lore.
I dunno if I'd talk about Star Wars and Marvel films in the same vein as Aladdin, Lion King or The Little Mermaid when it comes to classic Disney properties.
It didn't make sense when KH1 started but goddamn did they force it to work. It's like adding more Pirates of the Caribbean or Tron sections which are the weirdest looking and most disjointed parts of the game. I'm on the fence, it could work but I kinda don't want to see it.
Though I'm pretty sure I've said I wouldn't mind seeing Mickey Mouse and Yoda fighting.
Secret bosses already have lightsaber'esk weapons. Might as well go full on and make a Death Star level.
LIKE A GUMMI SHIP TRENCH RUN ON THE DEATH STAR TO BLOW IT UP!!!!
They could just add star wars on to the gummi ship sections, if that were to make a return
Gummi death star ftw
The Gummi mission to twilight town in 2 was about as close as we got to star wars in kh.
Did people forget Tron world was a thing in KH2?
It was mentioned a few posts up by Elcura. It was also in the 3DS game. I'm not sure that counts towards a Star Wars-esque world if that's what you were going for.
I think Fiye is referencing the style of the world, IE cartoony vs real life. The issue being that Star Wars would stick out too much but given what they did with Tron and Pirates, I think it would be fine. The style would clash a little but camaan, given the game as a whole I don't see that as a problem at all.
Adding in Marvel would be trickier I'd think. Not so much the characters, but like, setting the world in New York or somewhere like that. Asgard and Olympus are kind of the same idea already, so if they were to include the Avengers for example, maybe as a summon?
Well, they already did "real world" once with Pirates of the Caribbean.
I had more issues with pirates than I did with tron. Tron's world at least worked with the design they used for the nobodies/heartless. My only complaint for it was that the enemies there were a bit too colorful. Nothing in tron's world is purple, red, etc. Anything not pirates stood out like a sore thumb no matter what color it was.
