They don't even list Fred as a character lol. Maybe they just won't have him talk.
I didn't even catch that. How can they not have Fred talk!?
The tweet includes "and more." So, there is always a chance.
I mean, he is currently busy filming a new sit-com so that might be why they couldn't get him, purely because of scheduling conflict.
I'm curious if they'll bring in James Woods for Hades lol
Yes. I believe he's otherwise quit acting.
So they ditch nightmare before Christmas but they keep pooh![]()
Pooh has been in every game I think?
Japanese trailer
MAXIMUM HYPE!!!!
Okay, I need to stop watching trailers, that one showed off waaaaaaay too many things.
Why do they always use the movie guy voice for like everything? lol
Spent the past month playing through KH1 through Back Cover. Posting in the order I played the games.
• KH1 is still meh for me, mainly because of the beginning (hate Tarzan, Wonderland in the early game). Movement options are limited, but combat isn't bad. Played on proud.
• Re: Chain of Memories: Loved the story and Riku's arc. Fuck this battle system though. I played on Beginner to breeze through it, but it was still rough. I did understand the system by the end though.
• 358/2 Days (Cutscenes): I don't get why people think this game/title is confusing, it's pretty simple in my opinion. Game takes place over 358 days, and Roxas/Xion are the main characters. Story was really intriguing. Made me like Axel quite a bit.
• KH2: Played on critical. This game is extremely fun. I did a full platinum trophy run because I enjoyed it so much. The post game data fights are some of the most fun I've had. They're rough, but if you die, it's all on you.
• BBS: All done on critical. Very fun story. I did Terra > Ventus > Aqua for play order. Terra I struggled due to not understanding melding much. Ventus inbetween for difficulty. Aqua started out brutal, but I understood melding by then, and by the time I got to, I was able to get all the skills I needed. Her playthrough was the most fun. The secret/post game episodes were very well done. Aqua is probably in my top 3 characters for the series.Spoiler: show
• Re: Coded: This movie was boring. I feel like if they never made this game, nothing would be lost to the KH series.
• Dream Drop Distance: Played on proud. I'm mixed on this. Flowmotion is cool and all, but it got me killed more often than not. If you dodge roll into a wall, GG. You're now stuck in ending lag and can't do any abilities/cures. The camera randomly turns around, which led to a few deaths by forcing my character to now run towards the boss/enemy. The pokemon are great in concept, but shitty execution I think. You only permanently learn the red/purple abilities. The blue abilities only through keeping the pokemon in your party, which I never caught on to until the end. The forced drop mechanic is dumb, but easily circumvented. The story is okay. Riku's story is much better, and I like seeing how far he's come. The wholeseemed unneeded, but whatever.Spoiler: show
• BBS 0.2: This is quite obviously a demo for KH3. There are quite a few bugs. In cutscenes you can see textures popping in and out. For movement, if you try turning left/right too quick or at a 90 degree angle, Aqua just stutter steps. If you try to do a quick circle, she just stutters and it looks jagged and janky. The combat is well done. If they keep the combat as is in 0.2, I'll be happy. Instead of choosing commands with triangle, having them only be for -ja spells, or finishers was nice. Aqua runs way too fast. The game is locked to 30FPS on normal PS4 also. I don't think it was optimized well, but hope it's all sorted by KH3. Aqua still best girl.
• Back Cover: Interesting. The Master of Masters guy was pretty cool. I want to know more about Luxu.
Overall, I enjoyed my time, but some of the games (CoM, DDD) are fucking irritating. Overall, I wouldn't mind if they cut out all Disney (except for Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Yen Sid) and only focused on KH original characters/worlds, but I expect to be in the minority for that. I'm probably going to do a Lv 1 Critical run of KH2 before KH3 comes out.
Axel, Aqua and Riku carry the series. Twilight Town is also amazing. It's one of my favorite towns in any game. I really like the atmosphere and music. 358/2 Days made it better, since it gives context to Roxas. Fight me.
Pair of new promotional Kairi renders.
