Does some treasure chest availability open up later on?
I've scoured Olympus and it says I'm only at 87% chests found.

Nope, you should be able to access all of it now.
You'd think at some point I'd get tired of hearing Goofy go "H'YUCK, I THINK THERE'S A HIDDEN EMBLEM NEARBY" but it really doesn't get old.
Okay. Found them.
The giant red box on Olympus should have been a giveaway. And then the smaller one hidden in the foot at the base of the mountain. Oy vey.
Shit is like pushing a "stand here for 1-5 minutes and look around" button. Some of them are really creative, but some I feel blend in waaay too well. Monstropolis and Twilight Town are the only two that I've 100%ed naturally so far.
Just reached the Caribbean. It feels like they put way more into this world than any other by a long shot. I thought Port Royal was small, then I took a different path away from the barracks. 40 minutes later, I have no idea where I'm at. Made my way to some settlement that is a full blown town, but lacks much to it it seems. Really missing that world map function that shoulda been in.
If I remember correctly, most all of the treasures and emblems are available during your first play-through of each world except for like 2 in Monster's Inc. But all treasures+emblems on each individual world are 100% available as soon as you beat that world. And nothing is miss-able
Unlocked the Ultima Keyblade and finished the final fight and watched the final cutscenes and secret movies and blah blah, will put in spoiler tag:
Spoiler: show
All I have left is to platinum this sucker. Synthesis will be whatever, but the mini-game trophies look annoying as fuck. Not to mention the Gummi-ship secret boss. At least level grinding looks pretty easy.
Also, Ultima Keyblade is OP as fuck, fucking looooved it. The Pirates Keyblade was also a lot of fun (I'm also biased towards anything Polearm/Lance because lolDrg), and of course Ever After is also fun and OP with Magic and AoE.
Just got to pirates, game is fun and all, but those cut scenes man...
The game is best experienced by skipping all cutscenes in the disney worlds and then not skipping them leading up to the keyblade graveyard.. aka after sanfransokyo or pirates.. whichever you choose to do last.
I don't think it's much of a spoiler but literally everything you do in disney worlds much like in previous KH games have ZERO fucking impact at the final confrontation. Congratulations you watched tangled, have an OP keyblade if you do a magic build. There is some humor in the cutscenes but they are just too frequent and too long.
Differences between JP and ENG dialogue in certain scenes. Obvious spoilers are obvious.

Finished last night. Want to get Ultima Weapon and do battle gates today, not sure I want to platinum the game though... Mini games are not my thing and it feels some of them could be annoying. Also, is getting 99 a huge grind? Considering you finish around @45
It's not bad at all, actually. There's a few Battle Gates I've found that dish out a good amount of exp and one in San Fransokyo that not only gives good exp but drops a ton of the harder to find synthesis materials like the Wellspring and Hunger Crystals, Lucid Crystals, etc.
I did 45-60 at the Battle Gate in Olympus near the base of Mt. Olympus. I'm now up to 72 doing a combination of a Gate in the Toy Story world, and the previously mentioned one in San Fransokyo.
Nice, thanks. Forgot food even existed tbh haha. Or, rather I made it when I had ingredients, but have not used it a single time during the game
If you do plan to go for plat, don't even bother grinding to 99, you'll hit it naturally just doing the synthesis trophy, which is the only real pain in the ass trophy imo.
The Lucky Ring from post card dramatically cuts the time down on mat grinding, just save scum until you get it. Lucky Lucky in KH3 is very powerful.
Are post card rewards random??
