Damn bro, who hurt ya?
Damn bro, who hurt ya?
Noone. I'm just calling out what I saw objectively, and put it into perspective.
How the hell do you think you're objective when you have no idea how good any of us is actually at action games dude.
This is his opinion. He's making it out like it's fact, and seeming to belittle those who don't realize that it's not difficult.
I can play these games on Proud/Critical too, but I know that there are people out there that can't or don't want to and will still have fun on "Normal."
What was hard to understand?
You're on the internet. Almost everyone states their opinion as facts here.
You're blind if you don't think Proud mode in this game is weaker than the other ones. You can literally spam X and never die once, I would know because I pulled it off. The previous games at least has some gimmicks in fights where you couldn't keep doing that. For godssakes the super boss was some level 40 piece of shit that did no damage to me.
Don't get me wrong. I'm way more casual than 14 year old me was and I loved this fact about this game. But it's ridiculous to suggest that Proud mode is balanced the same way as it was in Kh1 and 2. I literally never even died even if I just spammed X.
A toddler can beat this game on proud. Like the above poster said, you can literally spam only X. Maybe throw in a little triangle commands, if you're feeling spicy. Cure when you're low on HP, because your filthy casual ass sure ain't using any other magic. You can even buy Kupo Coins, which are essentially a "I fucking really suck, and want a second chance at a boss" item.
The only fight I feel you can't get away with purely attack is the final boss, at least at a lower level. If you're a higher level, you can just AFK while. Also, the super boss.Spoiler: show
Proud mode in KH3 is probably easier than KH2 on standard.
EDIT: Another thing that I'd like to see return (though I know people hate it), is that bosses cannot be killed unless you defeat them with a finisher. It encourages you to get a real opening, or a full combo off to win. Not really a big deal, but I enjoyed this in KH2.
Honestly the only annoying thing in this game is the fact you spend majority of your time getting stun locked in the air. Final 3 hrs of fights I was just in the air avoiding all the things while still getting hit by all the things.

I was super disappointed by the difficulty. YX, Xemnas and Ansem should not be taken out so easily. Neither should the final boss or secret boss. I don't care how easily approachable you made your game.
There was critical in 0.2, there is no point why critical couldn't be shipped with the game. 0.2 critical felt like an actual challenge, and I went into KH3 expecting a similar experience, or at least have it open up once I completed the game. I don't know how soon they plan on releasing it, but I found it ridiculous that I couldn't do so.
I think this was the first secret boss I beat on my first attempt. Was really disappointing after Lingering Will.
Proud KH1 in traverse town the soldiers were disgustingly lethal. It didnt feel like Sora was capable of handling himself until after deep jungle and even get getting past lizard boi and shooty mc shootface wasn't a walk in the park there either unless you sat and over leveled Sora which is a valid strategy because his gun can chunk about 80% of soras life and is difficult as fuck to guard and parry if you're super casual like 12-17 year old everybody was when introduced to this franchise.
I stopped playing a couple weeks ago maybe halfway through Pirates of the Caribbean level. I feel like I've invested enough time already and I should just finish the damn thing but the thought of doing ANOTHER world for Big Hero 6 and then supposedly a looooooooooong run of cutscenes and bossfights just isn't encouraging to me.
Despite it's size, San Fransokyo was (for me) the shortest main world in the game. I think I was in and out in ~20-25 min. It's very direct and straightforward, especially after pirates.
Yeah, for how open the world is, the story really ushers you from one point to the next. Next to the Caribbean, I think I had the fewest chests there at the end of the game.
I think it's also got a lot to do with the fact that it was the last world before the "real" story begins, at least for me. I rushed through that world so quickly because I knew that everything would have to happen right after, since it was the final Disney world.
SE will be replacing Olaf's dub in the JP version, because it was the same dude from the Judge Eyes game that was arrested for drugs
