I wouldn't be surprised to see the 750ti running Thief better then both consoles when benchmarks starts coming out for it. The One is obviously weaker, but both consoles will be hitting the limits of what they can do likely before the year is out.
anyone know if you can play cross-platform between xboxes? 360+xbone, i mean. I hope so. my friends say not, but the games they're using as examples are all older, so i'm hoping it's just a code issue that would then be resolved in newer games. my friends have decided to get this on xbone, which means i'll have to buy one to play with them. fuck that, i'm getting a new computer this holiday season. maybe if i have money left over (i won't, i'm building it myself so i'm gonna go all john hammond on that shit)
not that it makes a difference to anyone but the graphics whores, but the beta was determined to be at 792p (lol), and they claim to have improved it further for launch. personally idgaf, the gameplay is a blast.
I'd be surprised if there's crossxbox play because I imagine that would be a big selling point, and as it is now they hardly even acknowledge the 360 version.
I don't see a button to prepurchase it yet, but the xbox site says
edit: and now they've taken that page down and said you won't be able to prepurchase or preload it, wtf.Titanfall

XBone bundle coming to UK Feb 28th for £399.99, NA March 11th for $499.99http://www.vg247.com/2014/02/24/tita...-press-mailer/Microsoft’s much-rumoured Titanfall Xbox One bundle has been confirmed, and is set for release on March 11.
It follows Microsoft’s confirmation that Xbox One will receive an official price-cut in the UK only, starting February 28. Hit the link for all the details.
UPDATE: In a press release, Microsoft’s chief marketing and strategy officer Yusuf Mehdi confirmed the £399.99 / $499.99 Titanfall console bundle. It’ll hit the UK on February 28, with a download code for Titanfall while stocks last. It’ll hit the States on March 11.
It includes a standard black Xbox One console and pad, one month of Xbox Live Gold, an Xbox One headset and a Titanfall download code.
In a statement, Mehdi said, “In many ways, the launch of Titanfall will enable us to deliver the first truly next generation multiplayer game — one that will take advantage of the new party and chat improvements we’re delivering, build on the power of the cloud in a way only Microsoft can, and connect fans on Xbox Live.
“If you’ve been waiting for the biggest game of the generation before purchasing your Xbox One, this special, limited time offer is perfect for you.
ORIGINAL STORY: The details were posted by Australian site Stevivor, in an article that has since been pulled. NeoGAF managed to copy the details before they vanished.
At the time, the site stated that the Titanfall Xbox One bundle includes a download code for Respawn’s shooter, a stanard Xbox One console and controller, a Kinect sensor, a standard Xbox One chat headset and a one month Xbox Live subscription.
After the article was pulled, the site explained, “We were given information that apparently was under embargo, though that embargo date was not communicated until after we’d posted the news.”

‘Titanfall’ Install Size Clocks in at 40GB on Xbox One
After potential pre-loading for Titanfall turned out to be a mistake on Microsoft’s part, many gamers were left wondering whether such a feature might still be in the Xbox One’s future. Moreover, with game install sizes seemingly increasing as they go, the utility of pre-loading becomes all the more important.
Coincidentally, talk has turned to Titanfall once again; only this time the focus is on the game’s actual install size, and how useful pre-loading have might been. According to the Xbox One Titanfall bundle that was just announced today, Respawn Entertainment‘s game will clock in somewhere around 40GB for the full install.
If the 40GB install size is for the full game that would make it the biggest game install on the Xbox One so far – not counting games with added DLC, of course. And, provided the Xbox One user has decent internet speed, that puts quite some time between triggering the install and actually getting to play.
It’s important to mention, however, that this install size is for the digital version of Titanfall – the copy that comes packed in with the new Titanfall bundle. In other words, gamers who pick up the disc-based version of Titanfall likely won’t have as substantial of an install, and will presumably be able to start gaming sooner thanks to background installing.
In addition to questions of pre-loading, this 40GB install size should also spurn conversations regarding Titanfall‘s depth as a multiplayer-only shooter. If games like Call of Duty: Ghosts (39GB) and Battlefield 4 (33GB) can clock in under Titanfall, even with a singleplayer component, then where do the bulk of Titanfall‘s assets come from? Thus far, we have only heard sparse details about Respawn’s game, although recent leaks have suggested the game boasts 15 multiplayer maps in total.
As likely the first “big” next-gen release of 2014, Titanfall is poised to dominate the conversation for at least the next three weeks. So much so that even something as miniscule as the game’s install size is bound to be scrutinized, specifically because it might hint towards other details about the game.
Also, make sure to check out all of Game Rant’s Titanfall coverage thus far, including our gameplay impressions video for the Titanfall beta.
Are you surprised by Titanfall‘s large install size? Do you think that Microsoft and Sony should introduce a pre-loading feature before game installs get any larger?
Titanfall releases March 11, 2014 for the PC and Xbox One. The Xbox 360 version releases on March 25th.
says "up to 40gb" leading to speculation of a massive patch like dead rising got, and/or including space for DLC, but obviously can't know for sure at the current moment
PC download 21GB, 48GB installed
http://cdn2.dualshockers.com/wp-cont...2/Twitter6.pnghttp://www.dualshockers.com/2014/02/...1-gb-download/The upcoming Titanfall will take up a whopping 48 gb of harddrive space, developer Vince Zampella revealed today.
Thankfully for those with slower internet speed or caps, this doesn’t represent how much needs to be downloaded. That number is a slightly more manageable 21 gb, with the game more than doubling during the install process.
Zampella did not explain which elements of Titanfall inflate the game size to 48 gb.

I retract my speculation, lol
edit: of course I say that and then the community manager tells DualShockers it's 20gb on xbone
