I tried this some today, but I have a problem I don't know how to work through:

If I use the gamepad - I can look and move around just fine, and if I stand still and just aim, I do okay as well. When I have to move and aim at something, my mind dis-connects and my target circle goes all over the place. It's like my mind's wires get crossed and I move my aiming circle like I"m trying to move my character, and I move my character like I'm trying to aim my target circle. The result would be comical, if recorded.

If I play with mouse/keyboard, I can aim just fine, but my left hand doesn't have the muscle movement necessary to move around properly or switch/use special abilities.

I remember playing Halo, way back in the day, and being good enough to play through on Legendary, and was pretty good at multi-player, so I'm not really sure what's happening now. I asked a friend, and she said things felt just fine, using a gamepad, and to just practice playing. Obviously, I can do that, but I thought I'd ask if anyone had any ideas or thoughts on anything else I could do.

Spent about 15-20 mins googling actually. Didn't know if it was gonna be a pre-load before it launched tomorrow at noonish or if we'd have to wait to download it, but thanks.

Not being able to preload something these days with how hard servers shit on themselves is silly.

It's only consoles that can't preload. I have no idea why they'd fuck that up so bad. EA being EA I guess.

Sorry for the mess of text, but read it, it's worth it.

If you are on PC, find the location of the folder which is in program files, origin games, and battlefront, click on the data folder, then the win32 folder. Once in there, there will be a file called, "characters.sb" after doing some searching, opening it with notepad, I searched for heroes by clicking Ctrl+F,

This is the list of all the heroes so far from what I can tell *Luke Skywalker (obviously) *Darth Vader (obviously *Boba Fett (also obviously)

Han Solo (search solo in that character.sb folder)

file directors in the notepad are proof enough sound/vo/heroes/hansolo/sw01_vo_heroes_hansolo_auto_inworld_killsbobafett

So there are quite a few Voice Overs for some unannounced heros in the SWBF beta files. There are voice overs for The Emperor, Boba Fett, Princess Leia & Han Solo. There are also some other voice overs for a game mode called Hero Hunt. Sounds like a pretty fun game mode!

as it's the beta, there are no models / meshes for the characters... yet!
