What am I missing 200k dps from lol the gold weapons have static values or a huge range?
idk, what are you missing 200k dps from
also I believe that picture had my smart cover on, normal dps is 194k
for my alt, my base dps is 114k and their smart cover boosts it to like 190k
That's still 100k over what I have in my pic last page
He has all high-end gear; you had two pieces. The increased weapon damage from the gear plays a significant role in his overall superior DPS I believe. It's like D3 when weapon dmg/DPS is enhanced by the amount of STR/INT/DEX you have (depending on which class you're playing). Mtashed has a good guide on reddit for jumping your DPS while keeping other stats at acceptable levels:

And I think I said "poor bastards" like 20 times while watching Church's vid
I don't know what your gear looks like, but I'm sure at this point he's got the better high-end gear which I'm sure significantly helps to raise his DPS as well. Just have to keep working on them goldes.
base damage on the MP5 is a ton lower than the vector, if you don't suck at aiming and your job is to deal damage, a vector should kill a player in ~10 bullets.
if we assume you suck that's still only 30 bullets and then you've got 10 left to scare someone with or get gud and kill them.
Also, now that I basically just kill everyone on sight, there are a ton of hackers on PC and Ubisoft hasn't done shit about it. I've sent in numerous reports with video evidence and haven't heard back on any of them.
I think it wasn't noticeable before because we weren't fighting players, and I would imagine most people save them for clutch situations (which we've noticed as well).
Just don't group up so he can't 'splode you immediately. He'll just kill you all individually.
One is None cannot be understated how useful the skill is when using an automatic weapon.
I think every hit to the head from a shotgun has a chance to proc the effect. I've done 15 shots with the shotgun before and still had 3 left in the magazine (out of 7) after killing that particular wave of enemies.
EDIT: By that I mean every piece of buck shot has a chance.
Got 29 from 27 tonight. I credit actually paying attention instead of wandering aimlessly. Did encounters and side missions rather than last story mission. Should definitely hit 30 tomorrow. Need 500 more medical credit and 220 security to cap base.
Going to try to grind for purple starter gear tomorrow and Friday if possible. After that is high end farming. Home this weekend at least, but have to be at my dad's at 2:30 Sunday. Stupid family obligations.
Man pick up groups are the worst for some of these missions . Is it really even worth running hard with some of these people.
Lvl 7 btw
Got to 30, now for that end game grind.
Spoiler: show
Looked at the picture, it's mostly your attachments. I not only have all HE attachments, but they're all exactly the rolls I want (mostly) on both weapons.
Couple that with not HE gear and not perfectly rolled HE gear (mine are basically just missing some support skill bonuses and that's only a few pieces). Then there are HE gear mods which for me are just Electronics x1 @144 and ~138-144 Firearms with 1.5% crit.
The pieces that still have bad rolls are chest/glove/holster (also known as the DZ50 Blueprints) and you'll learn why that is soon enough. They basically have Sticky Bomb damage on them instead of say, Pulse Crit Hit or Support Station Healing Speed, something useful. The rest are great except the backpack, which you'll learn soon enough is roughly a 0.02% chance to craft perfectly and that ignores the base armor roll but doesn't take into account rerolling a stat.
Edit: I have a 3 primary holster, 1 Electronics, and 2 Stamina pieces. (That leaves 3 Firearms pieces) and that lets me use Caduceus and deal as much damage as possible while remaining in a comfortable HP range. (Basically, the amount of HP that's good enough to not get gibbed by anything but a sticky bomb or a hacker)
I picked up a decent HE grip in the DZ yesterday for the vector, just on da grind now.. up to 116k dps I think
I feel like I was really over valuing the armor Stat too and probably ended up selling a bunch of useful stuff
My biggest complaint about the game so far is how horrible it is to sort through attachments, I have 30+ on me filling up my bag because I am mortified of trashing something useful
