I've been using shotguns when I get them on the grind up to 30. Did so on this character and the last. To hear that all the shotguns at 30 basically suck is disheartening.

If anyone is shotgunning you in PvP all you do is run away or move left/right because they are so terrible to aim.

Then, even if they hit you, it's only like 1-1.5 health bars so all you do is not let them do it again.

I see that even with NPCs... The shotgun I was using last night is my highest DPS weapon and it still takes at least 2 headshots at close range to kill a trash Riker. The main reason I've been using them is because they're fun, but also I'm usually sniping so if a guy gets close I can shotgun them from behind cover more easily than I could hit them with an AR.

i heard theres a perk that lets them shred armor, no clue what its called but if it does exist shotguns are probably only relevant with said perk(s)

So far this stream is full of nothing but talking about vague things. All I've gotten out of it is that incursions are apparently going to be more difficult than challenging. So shotgun guys with Tesla armor and attack dogs.

Gear sets look great! If incursions really do push groups to have specific load out like tanks and support it will be a nice change of pace

The dev gameplay was horrible lol they had dev cheats on also and were not losing life.

They did maintenance this morning and patched most of the farming methods. Police academy glitch is still valid but they "strongly discouraged" players from using it, apparently they'll be watching. But they've really yet to punish any sort of previous glitch. Kinda sad that they fixed the beyond 4 members glitch too. I was running Lexington last night with a solid 15 people crew. Got like 300 PxC. It was pretty sweet.
