fuck that grindy ass bullshit
Recalibrating High-End items will now cost normal Credits instead of Phoenix Credits
Thank god for this, both for using credits and actually having a use for credits
Finally back in town after two weeks of work hell followed by a week of vacation. Date night tonight, but I plan to gaijin the hell out of the game this weekend.
So is that how you geared up Church? Spam-farm mats, use exploits for PxC, and just craft craft craft? If so, I can see I've been taking the wrong approach this entire time. -___________-
Oh I'm very geared, so geared that I'm extremely confident Incursions will be a joke.
My eh has more to do with the other changes coming with this patch, of which that specific change (PxC -> C for rerolls) is an additional negative than it is a positive.
I just don't want to be the guy to bitch about it, partly because it doesn't effect me and mostly because it fucks people like you.
^That said, they've already started damage control
-You get credits by selling Purples
--eg: I sell 30/30 of my DZ stash items instead of deconstructing them.
-Crafting will be changed in the following ways:
--15 Greens -> Blue
--15 Blue -> Orange
--10 Orange -> HE Item
-Deconstructing will be changed in the following ways:
--Green item -> 1 Green component
--Blue item -> 1 Blue component
--Purple item -> 1 Blue component
--Orange item -> 1 Orange component
So now you need money from items, and deconstructing items gives you less for crafting, which without some very large changes to drop rates or crafting or whatever means that getting good gear will be infinitely harder.
I don't think it'll be that bad. We'll see how much it'll cost, there are other ways to get normal credits and I don't know about anyone else but I don't use my credits for anything at all at the moment
Which is all the more reason for me to be pissed off I have two characters that are now stuck in infinite loading.
Sorry, the more I read what's going on in this update the more PO'd I get.
It's not from the back pack glitch, it happened when I was fast traveling to one of the safe houses on the bottom right of the map. Not sure if it was the same safe house or not, tbh.
It's hopefully related to the glitch, though, because if it isn't I'll be even more pissed off. Especially since their customer service has been non-responsive to anything I've sent them.
try doing the fix for the backpack glitch and see if it works
Also, yeah you can get money by doing dailies but it seems like you haven't rerolled gear that costs credits (purples) because they get just as crazy as PxC rerolls.
It's also not so much about being fast for me, but that the devs just seem butthurt and everything (on paper) that they're doing just fucks people who are regular players.
They did come out today, after tons of rage on the internet, and said that the crafting changes won't be bad for us and we'll like the changes in the patch.
Hence why I said, damage control.
They could be limiting crafting roll options or using another mechanism to facilitate more favorable rolls, thus using less materials overall despite the change. Completely spitballing, but I doubt he'd say that if there wasn't some material improvement to it. The Reddit post I saw said we would "love them" for it.
