You get a 100% HE drop at the end and the boss can also drop a gold

I'm not sure if the 100% drop changes daily or what but sometimes it's holsters or kneepads or gloves or backpacks I know I've gotten chains of, didn't pay that much attention if the same drops were all on the same day

only thing I'd say RE bosses dropping HE's is that in my experience, and what I've recorded, HE's drop in chunks so Massive may be lending a lot of credence to a particular timestamp in their algorithm for RNG.

That means, just because I got an average of 7 HE's out of 20 Hornet runs, doesn't mean if I do 20 Russian Consulates, Hornet will drop 7 HE's, or even one.

There's that, looking at stat and armor rolls where I assume median values and compare to current median values by using the mean of what is presented.

Then there's the gear sets themselves, which would be useful if there wasn't a huge stat dropoff (assuming I'm right) but are useful because Striker's is ridiculously stupid.

Gear Sets

Based on the assumptions I made here about where those pieces will cap out via stats, these are the pieces I'd tentatively look to go after when the patch drops on Monday night when looking at a PvP build. Thus far, a PvP build has also been very successful in PvE and that's not likely to change.

If you haven't seen the gear sets, here they are:


Three things have to be considered, the first being that the stats could have a higher max than what I'm assuming based on the following picture:


The second being that Incursions may be so difficult, whether due to HP/Armor or waves coming in on set timers, that full sets might be necessary in that aspect.

The third being that we don't know which, or if any currently bugged Talents on gear will be fixed.

A fourth caveat being that some of these gear sets may themselves be bugged and either not work, or work better than they should.



For PvP, DPS is a distant second to being capped (or near) armor and high HP. High HP is at least 80k in my opinion, and some people even advocate going higher. In my experience that isn't necessary.

Skill loadouts (Skill CD, Skill Power)

Bugged Talents:

Reckless (Chest, Gloves?): Increases Damage Dealt by 13%, increases Damage Taken by 10%

Based on how every other talent in the game works, this is likely to scale higher with i32 gear. Currently, you deal 13% more damage and take 10% less damage.

Vigorous (Chest): All your healing skills have Overheal enabled

This currently doesn't work with support stations.

Rehabilitated (Mask): Heal 2% every second while effected by a status effect.

Currently heals 2% forever whenever you get hit by a status effect.

So we have 6 pieces of gear to work with, and we need to get to 65% mitigation (4640 Armor) because this is our first goal. The values I use will be assumed mean values, getting better rolls and whatnot would obviously be paramount in a loot based shooter.

If Chest and Mask talents are fixed:

With a tweak in either kneepads or backpack, removing 18% critical hit damage, I should be able to roll armor and hit the mitigation cap. My primary stats would remain the same as they are now, but I would have gained 82% critical hit damage and that's using only assumed mean values for all stats.

This build is similar to a build I ran early in the game, it used Caduceus but only took Electronics high enough to unlock Coolheaded. The problem in PvP was that you had to sacrifice Health (Stamina) in order to continue building Skill Power or Firearms or Electronics. This build may be viable with the Sentry's set because it is definitively less middle-of-the-road than at i31.

You will again need to roll Critical Hit damage off of Knee pads/Backpack for armor, preferably knee pads, and take skill power in its place on your backpack. This build should end up around 2300F/2580S/1890E with 30-35k Skill Power and 65% Mitigation (with 20% Skill Haste). In PvP, there is downtime, and that skill haste may come in handy when not hitting 45k Skill Power.

Support (Medic, Engineer)

Alternatively, you can change the Assault Hybrid build to an Electronics build, but forgo the usual Skill Power rolls on gear for Critical Hit Damage. Stopping at 1890F/2580S/2300E and tweaking skill power until it's near the 45k mark.

I'm not sure what im doing so wrong but I can absolutely obliterate maybe 2/3 of the people i come across and then it seems like anyone whos r50+ I can barely dent before they kill me, doesnt help Im always solo and those seem to be in groups.. and if i drop one they just pick him back up
