Is striker's set better than 4/4 sentry with reckless chest and savage gloves? Wouldn't having 45% more damage almost immediately be better than unloading a clip into someone to activate a similar bonus with strikers?

3 Marks only, for solo play, any build, this is the best set (Sentry's).

For Incursions, you'd probably want 2x 4xSentry 2xStriker and 2x 4xStriker 2xSentry

For PvP, I'd probably run the same setup, or 4x 4xSentry. Tacticians has some MINOR usefulness in PvP because both methods of CD reduction are not always reliable but not at 4/4.

If you can get Strikers up in PvP, it's great. Fighting players I've only been able to get it to ~25% and that was against idiots. A constant 45% is easily better than a 1~5%.

Sorry Ark, I didn't see them at all as per my whisper back. Do they come through when you're in a mission? I didn't see them until I went to the BoO after the mission to look at the appearance vendor... Thanks though.

I have crappy hours to play during the week. Basically only have from 5 EDT to 6:30ish before I have to pick up the wife, make dinner, and eat. By the time I'm done it's usually 8:30 and she wants to watch some Netflix or something before going to bed.

Used to have more time, but now she works 2 hours later than she used to. She gets summer hours at this new job, though, so hopefully I can get more play time in after work over the summer.

On another note, got my first decent gold yesterday. A holster with 3x the armor value and a bunch more Firepower and Electronics on it compared to my old one. Forgot the other stats. The only other golds I got were a half-decent scope for an AR or SMG and a Performance Mod with 1100 Skill power and +6%? heal speed for health stations.

Tried running the Hard dailies and GA Hard, but everyone kept dropping out before we even got started. I'm guessing they didn't want to deal with my noob gear or some shit. GS up to 89 I think from 0 so made decent progress.

No worries. I'm pretty sure you have to turn something on in Options to see that stuff while outside the public areas. I'd have to look what it is though and I'm at work atm.

Frankly, the reward for the Hard dailies might not be worth the suffering of matchmaking for them. The same thing happened to me when I started trying to use matchmaking for those. If you do get some time to play, I (or any of us on PC, really) can run you through the Hard dailies by ourselves. I occasionally get reckless and die but Hard missions aren't actually hard once your gear score is over say, 150. I'm at 176 and have no trouble.

Yeah I ended up running GA Hard solo. Was fine. Obviously took longer, about 25 mins/run I think, but until I get some more gear it'll do. Did manage to get an AUG purple to get my Primary up to 59k DPS which would be great if I could tank the shots coming at me. Had to use my sniper most of the time anyway.

Was great for the shotgunners, though.

Yeah it's ridiculous. The full guide from Reddit is below; apparently it can be done in 20-30 mins if you have 36k+ skill power. Still not going to do it; why even play the game? Go find a loot simulator online. I'm not really keen on the Police Academy thing either. I just genuinely enjoy running challenges with random people and plodding along at my own pace. Same deal in Destiny; after the 3oCs came out, I would do the random strike playlist for hours.
