Was able to pick up the aug from home base PxC NPC and it's a beast.

PxC vendor in BoO. it's 814 PxC's, GS 204. I forget what talents are on it but it definitely beats out my old Vector easily. Pretty sure a First Wave Vector will still be better though, working on that.

That was genius.
Got my first incursion win this morning. It felt super intense and definitely left me feeling like i understand why it's so hard to get a group in there. I thought with my current setup I'd be fine at gs163, but i got rocked more than anything. Can't wait to farm up better weapons for this, i need all the help i can get.
At this point now, is it all a matter of rinse and repeat of the same missions hoping for that rng to bless you with what you need?

I would not enter with a PUG group whose average gear score was under 180 roughly; doing Incursion at 160 is like doing Challenge at 130 (p tough). Certainly doable, but it's just not worth the headache with PUG groups. I have 75k health and ~192 GS and it's not exactly a cake walk when I do it with randoms.

With friends, I would try whatever though. Completely different dynamic.

DZ will get you better gear and more crafting mats than spamming challenge modes. If you get a good crew together you can farm incursion to get more set pieces (minus the gloves of course). Also, DZ has lv32/204 blueprints.

Not sure whether to get AUG from special weapons vendor, or get striker's knee and mask blueprints. Currently only have Striker's gloves; current weapon is the base Vector you can get the blueprints for.

Could also use that sniper, using a purple sniper atm, but I'd need to redo equipment a bit to get the talents on it.

If it's one or the other, the striker set will do you a lot more good than the gun.

Also, fuck those gloves. Idk how many supply drops and challenge modes I've done and I still don't have striker or sentry gloves. I have all 4 sets at the other slots minus sentry vest.

Yeah I got the mask, and have 222 PxCs left over. I'll keep farming up PxCs, but am also owed the 500 from the backpack lockout. I could get either the knee pads or the gun at that point.

I try to get randoms together for DZ farming, but just get ignored. Oh well... That's what I get for having shitty play times.

I've done a few groups on lfg. Haven't been that bad. Hell, one of them we ended up doing incursion, then challenge daily, then like 6hrs in DZ.
