They definitely changed it; DZ05 and 06 with the LV 35 enemies are nuts for even the best geared players. I'd hang out in the very low DZs.

Honestly I need advice. I'm running 4 sentrys 2 FM set with 175k dps 465k toughness and 27k skillpower. I see people getting 250k+dps and I just don't understand how. None of my guns will allow me to push past 200k without smart cover or whatever buffs. My gear is almost all 268 with good stats. What am I missing here? What's increasing people's dps to 300k?

Lol wtf? I rerolled my knee pads and finally got crit hit dmg +20% after like 50 tries. Went from 7% protection from elites to 20% crit hit dmg and my DPS didn't go up at all. How's that even possible

Running Sentry so I assume shotty sniper? Both have very bad in-game calculated DPS due to RoF , awkward headshot % calculations, and accuracy. SMGs and ARs typically have massive DPS because of higher clip counts plus higher RoF. More bullets at a faster rate is going to overcome the slower, harder hitting weapons. In practice though, consistent headshots with a shotty or a sniper have amazing burst damage potential. Plus being Sentry, you're the one actually making shit die faster with it's +52~% damage taken increase. That guy rocking a 300k DPS SMG is cool and all, but it's the buffs/debuffs that make the biggest difference for everyone.

how are people getting to ilvl 250? is that dlc drops? the highest stuff I see is 240 out of dz but I dont have the dlc yet


also is the dlc worth the 15 bucks? lol

DZ 5/6 is guaranteed 268 for gear set in 231+. All chests there have 229 HE. Basically, you gotta roll up to the higher DZ zones if you want to progress. No DLC is required btw.

i havent seen a weapon over 204 in the sub 230 dz, do they not exist?

If not in DZ 6, then I'd have to say no. Haven't looked yet, but I can't imagine them not at least having a chance to drop. Are you only farming in DZ 1-4 or something?

Also, the weekly HVT drops 229 weapons.

I'm not really sure how this hvt stuff works, I have to do every single little search and destroy to get enough intel to do the weekly? doing all the missions in every little area really sucks

If you clear one area, preferably a low level one, you can repeat the same one for Intel. Always pick up the drops from any enemy you kill during those missions too since any of them can drop Intel. It shows as a white marker on the map just like ammo etc.
