I would say Bowser, and then Bowser again. He's an absolute monster (his bair hits for 19% clean just to give an example) and his grab can lead to some serious cheese if you're going for that final kill. It's horizontal travel distance is based on your opponents %, and you can take them over the edge as low as 30% damage. They hit the bottom right before Bowser does, so it's a cheap way to finish off that final stock.

Can you guys recommend a few super forgiving characters to play as for someone super casual (few min a day). ZSS is fun but it's hard to get used to on a DS for me. I'd like to eventually work my way up once I have a handle on it.

Def not Little Mac, casual ones get beaten with ledge throw antics

Just pulled Classic 9.0 with super cheese mode.

Ganondorf, full defense custom equip (I ran about 70ish def I think, don't drop your speed super super badly but he's gonna be damn slow). Getting to Master Core isn't too bad, and once you learn the patterns it's a joke with this Ganon setup. Just USmash everything and Fsmash the puppy form (downgraded from dog 'cause it's actually pretty bad).

Man, I don't know how anyone can be good at this game on a handheld. I finally got my copy last night and I kept fucking up because the stick wouldn't always return to neutral. It would be ever so slightly pushed in direction, even without my fingers touching it, so it would mess things up. That joystick or whatever you want to call it is so ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It gets better with the time you spend on it. The only input errors I personally experience anymore are pivoting out of dashes to fsmashes, and landing with a low lag aerial and trying to get an fsmash out instantly; for some reason it doesn't buffer the fact you've input a Smash and it comes out as a tilt instead. Requires much more perfect timing than fsmash after a standard landing.

For some reason the dash thing usually involves the combination of me hitting A after the stick has moved nearly to the right side of the pad, along with actually having to hold A for a split second longer than I normally would for an uncharged smash.

If your circle pad won't sit in neutral, sounds like it's time for another 3DS, or risk it and wire it up to use a GC controller... Costs only $12-13 bucks if you have the tools you need which you probably do. There's even a way to get the Cstick working now from what I read but didn't dive too deeply into it.

If I remember correctly, Nintendo will repair for free, at least if the stick broke anyway as had been the case with some people. I know they been fairly good in the past about fixing things since the days of GB when they fixed mine XD

Stop underrating yourself--if you're in an area where there's not an extremely massive scene, you'd probably get in top8ish at a local 20-25 person for Smash4 easily.

I haven't played you since Friday, but based on your posts I'm sure you've been able to curb your habits a bit. Still using Doc nearly 100% and get his retarded 60% combo on most people down yet?

Apparently there is a trick to see if a match will lag before going, if you are at character select screen and try and change colors and it lags that means the match will. Not sure if this is correct 100% of the time but yeah, online is pretty laggy for me in mornings because lots of JPN players and probably other countries.

Yeah, I tried a couple games when it first came out and just can't handle it. I'm hoping it's more in part due to the 3DS having a shit WiFi module and not netcode, which could bode poorly for the Wii U version.

Still very hit or miss, but at least that's entertaining. Nintendo has no idea what they're doing with Zelda she feels worse than before but naturally shitty 3DS controls don't help. Might take the time to practice more with her but overall very hit or miss.
