I just hope they fix shielding with GC controllers, that shit was annoying. Worked in Melee but not in Brawl so heres hoping.
That you needed to push the GC trigger all the way down to activate the shield (whereas in Melee, if you slightly depressed the trigger you would get a large weak shield) they got rid of that in Brawl. I could be remembering this wrong, but pretty sure it was a thing.
Wii pro controllers didn't have that trigger, just a button so you could shield faster.

There's something oddly appealing to a game of Mario Party where the mini-games are all Smash Bros. fights. Bring back the silly conditions from Melee so we can have Tiny Metal Sudden Death please.
Oh man beating 9.0 classic feels great. Apparently my issue was using Ganon with full defense. I suck ass with Ganondorf. I did much much better with Bowser.
Now to figure out how to counter in street smash for that fucking challenge.
So I'm trying the full Def Classic 9.0 on Bowser, Def is at 185 or something. Got ripped apart on Gannondorf.
I Can get to the sword form of master core fine enough, but I can never seem to dodge properly and I always either end up losing a stock or taking large amounts of damage before being able to take it out. Suggestions?
I'm like *right there* and can't get lucky enough to get over the hump.
Edit: Nevermind, just cleared it. Got a little lucky in timing shield during beast stage and didnt take damage.
So salty. Went to a local tourney today.
Lost first round winner's bracket.
