Yeah, I went looking on the 30th, and the associates from multiple stores told me they can get me the game, adapter, and controller for a little over $100. They didn't have the adapter seperatly, and wouldn't until June or July at the earliest.

Being in retail I could read their body language and realize they also knew what was up. One straight up told me there not getting them in stores and is an order only item. They're trying to milk it for as much as possible so I'll just wait until Nintendo wakes up and makes it available again.

Uh, how does that figure? The adapter is worth $20. I'd rather buy adapter and 2 controllers for 80 than to waste 60 bucks on just the adapter.

It's been established that it's BS if you've gotten the game already prior to this (which a great deal of people have done). You're golden if you needed new Gamecube controllers (still a ripoff for the adapter) or if you needed both controllers and the game itself (not so much a ripoff). With how the price is slowly going down from the insane prices (ironically in part due to Gamestop bundle) it's showing more and more that it's a BS situation that Gamestop is taking advantage of.

Don't be tricked by the controller prices either -- smart people know that you can get a Gamecube controller for as low as 5$ (eBay, Pawn shops, Amazon, Goodwill, etc). Assume that at best you could find controllers at $8 minimum (ironically the going rate on Amazon right now). That means they are selling you the adapter at 64$.

It's a ripoff.

That's still pretty nifty; I also like that you don't even need to use a TV to actually play the WiiU; I can let my bro watch football on the big screen and still get my smash training in, all while the game still looks amazing.

Just beat a guy 8 times using about 8 different characters while he mains Ganondorf.

I play Sheik vs his Ike once, he gets a lucky up smash off right before I KO him with jumping fish, and I get the nickname change scroll of "YOU MAD BRO, U SUK, GIT GUD" and then he promptly leaves.

I think my "Ridley" nickname for my purple Charizard upset him when I ripped his ZSS up.

Yeah I love those. I played a super lame game against this one dude and purposely ran out the clock and then beat him on sudden death. After, the guy seemingly had an essay written out for me about how much I suck and that he won't lose to me again. Switched to my LOL name and then left. Don't particularly care for try-hards.

Ha, that ending. Guessing that's the main reason you posted.


Since you know I watch matches for than just entertainment, this is what I noticed:

Stop rolling as an approach. It's bad. So many punishes. While rolling in S4 is obviously better than the previous games, it's still not a great approach option.

Also, you reset a lot by rolling backwards after you attempt one approach and give up stage control really often by doing that. You'll roll backwards even if you've forced them into the air, which can often be capitalized on. Show some Utilt a little more (you barely used it), make sure they know you have it to cover the air over your head, and force them into different spots and punish.

Idk there's some other things I saw as I was watching but I'd have to watch it again. And those two things above are the most important anyway.
