Just from my own play as Mario vs Doc, Doc is more sluggish. Mario'a attacks come out faster and I believe he runs faster and has a better jump. There are likely also some damage and kb values that made him a higher tier.
When Doc was back I was excited cause I loved him in melee. Now I usually go Mario over Doc.
I can't say exactly for sure but Toki I think is correct from my own experiences as him and against him. Mario shines pretty well in Smash 4 and I like that. I am not used to fighting Mario still since I am still used to how he was before being a bit slower.
These "clones" don't seem to be better than their originals but give a different style of play that some people may prefer if not the character directly themselves. In the case of Dark Pit/Pit well I think it is more of feeling like a bad ass (Dark Pit) while being weaker than Pit's somewhat annoying persona to some even if it means having to be a little gimpier, least not as bad as some of the other "clones".
8:45-10:20 was I felt an interesting theory on Ganondorf being the way he is still and made me feel a little bit better though still bitter at Sakurai. Particularly liked how he explained his rodupbutt walking.
I thought the only difference in Pits was the final smash.
Nah the F-B where Dark Pit sends them diagonally instead of upward and requires much higher % to kill, the arrows don't really curve and I think only does 1% more damage at full charge. Pit's f-tilt has better knockback.

Ice Climbers were cut because the 3DS devs had trouble getting them to function
I thought people knew this for months? Like... before the 3DS version came out? He said that long ago, but yes, its another reason I don't like cross-platform gaming if its going to limit what the more powerful platform can actually accomplish.
FFXI all over again.
Named my Shulk amiibo "Feeling it"
Brainstorming for Mega, thinking "Jump&Shoot"
Gonna name my Shulk amiibo Monado Boy
Surprised at the lack of "Muh Nado".
That's one of my tags. My amiibo has to have a diff one
MuhNado420
I named him Reyn for the lulz.
I named my Samus amiibo (blue colored) Caboose.
Link is "Not Zelda" for me
Got worried from posts in here that Xenoblade's amiibo support might make me regret missing out on Shulk.
Luckily, it's just for tokens that you can get via Streetpass too. So it's pointless.
Looks like it might not be. Gamestop's website says it'll be available again on 5/1.
And as stupid as Nintendo not releasing lots of Amiibo figures seems, how many of you have bought ones you previous weren't planning to buy because of their limited nature? I know I've bought twice as many as I was originally planning to buy as a result..
Creating artificial demand just gives scalpers incentive; it does nothing to profit Nintendo. Nintendo would make more money if they made more.
