i managed to execute my first real combo kill tonight. Zelda's up-throw-up-B. killed the guy pretty quickly. i think zelda is definitely my best character.

I was hoping this would be true. I got bored pretty quickly using just base moves and having custom attacks really makes shit interesting.

Olimar 1 hit KO glitch. Notice on his first attack he does 999%. Be interesting to see how this shakes out for Evo, since Nintendo said no more balance patches.

At game speed though I doubt anyone's gonna stand there to set it up. There has to be more of a trick than that.

Rather easy to pull it off in doubles. Knock people offstage and run back to neutral and get it done.

If it's not banned, I can guarantee you it will happen at some point. Multiple probably. Dabuz would use it for sure.

Watched my first custom move tourney this weekend and I'm hooked. Between seeing a sick Charizard and some crazy DBZ Palutena fly-into-jumpcancel-into-upsmash nonsense, I'm all aboard for the customs at EVO. The game just feels more alive with customs, and with not every player knowing every custom matchup, it adds a lot of surprise and not as much comfort to sit and jostle for positioning.
