Fwiw, Nintendo customer service might help you out. Friend called back when there was some free download copy of pokemon for purchasing two or three other other games. Anyway, he missed the deadline by a day or two but they got his reg codes and got him the download code for it. I mean, worth a shot to save a couple bucks.

Mewtwo has some true combos early on.
Ground fair --> d-dilt --> nair --> fair --> fair.
D-dilt --> d-tilt --> u-tilt --> bair.

F-b into Fsmash seems to work unless tech'd. Not sure if 100% guaranteed but it is amazing if so.

He's a bit too floaty but his fair is amazingly fast, hits hard, and is a kill ability. B-throw and u-throw can kill in late % but d-throw and f-throw cannot it seems. Smash hits in general are good.

Edit: NM, can DI out of f-b into fsmash if you are quick enough.

As far as I remember, it was more "not making it super technical" than avoiding links to fighting game characters. I haven't really ever seen the latter thing said.

I for one welcome Ryu. And any freaking character they want to put in Smash. Adding in more characters is great. I'm pleased with Mewtwo, even if I can't play worth crap with him right now (but working on it).

If Roy does become real, I would not be surprised at all to see Lyn added as another female FE rep. I really do believe at this point Nintendo may be trying to choke Project M out of existence without the P.R. backlash of a C&D.

If that continues, theres no reason why the roster won't reach 60+ fighters. Theres enough Nintendo backlog and 3rd party interest I'm sure to make 4 last well into next generation before Nintendo would concede a 5th title is necessary.
