Very nice surprise, and with SE considering the newest DQ title for NX development I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo is gunning for the FF7 remake to appear on the NX as well.

If anything, something like this has me excited that 3rd parties may be looking at Nintendo as someone to do business with again.

The Smash Ballot Direct is coming in December, so something tells me Cloud didn't necessarily "take" the slot from someone.

It's just the cool thing to hate FFVII/Cloud just like it's the cool thing to love FFVI a ton, when I guarantee most people who say FFVI is their favorite RPG, they can't even recall most of the story.

I think this is crazy. Never a day did I think Cloud would be on a Nintendo platform outside of yeeeeears ago when there was a rumor of SE pitching the idea of it to Nintendo, but it didn't take.
