I love how Smash Brothers has gone the Pokemon route and combined so many IPs into one game. Cloud being in seems like a great partnership, and they really nailed the implementation. Bahamut and Odin were particularly on point.

I was super hype when I found out, and 7 Isn't even my favorite, 8 is. And I'd even go to say I like Super Mario RPG more than FF7 and would have liked Geno, but I'm still super hyped for Cloud, he'll be the first DLC character I purchase.

This isn't even including the battlefield and summons, or how well done his character seems to be. Sold.

I still have doubts as they could've spoke of him first prior to Cloud to set it up. Geno was doing ok in the regular polls but as I said there were much higher desired choices, one of which was Wolf, which Nintendo wouldn't have a problem getting. I rather abandon hope for Geno to not be disappointed (and if he does come out then the hype will be even bigger for me as a result).
