WiiU hasn't sold well? Shocker. There's no games on it. The only reason I'd get one is for MH3U and even then.. eh. Bayonetta 2 isn't out yet, there no Pokemon game for it, and Brawl's not out for quite a while as well.

Will younger kids even know who K.K. Rool is? The last game he was in was DK64, which launched in 1999. Never played it, but as far as I know he wasn't in DKC Returns.
Would assume (hope) this means they include the Gangplank Galleon music from the K.K. Rool boss fight in the first DKC.
is is whykremlings are still Rare priority as i heard, so i don't think that part of the rumor will be true
(People saying this is why DKC1-2-3 has been removed from WII virtual channel)
Would love K Rool. Hoping its true.
Rool was also featured in Jungle Climbers, Barrel Blast, and Mario Super Sluggers which were all released after the Rare buy out so I'm pretty sure Nintendo still owns the characters rights to Rool and the Kremlings.
I love how people still say "Wii U has no games" It now has a lot of games. If you aren't interested in them thats one thing but saying it has none is just false.
It has no real system seller for the vast majority of consumers, which very much so equates to "no games"
That really make no sense, lol.
It makes perfect sense. Their system seller (IE. Mario) didn't sell systems.
They have no games the public wants = they have no games when spoken in context.
The Wii U had a pretty big sells spike over the holidays. Their yearly forecast was way below what they wanted but sales certenily picked up after Mario 3D world was released.
Wouldnt that not make it "a system" seller then?
How did this somehow become a Wii U sales debate.
Speak Smash, you dorks.
Watching Apex and literally every other match involves Fox or Falco. How OP are they in melee?
Higher tiers have better tools to win a match so people play them. Strategies are developed and copied by other players. Oftentimes the streamed matches are the same characters because those characters win tournaments. Kage the Warrior vs MattDotZeb was so hype, as was aMSa vs DJNintendo. A lot of the people I play with regularly went, so I've been watching (and I love smash anyway <3).
Smash will sell consoles whether there are 9 more characters revealed or not, so long as they don't mess anything up.
Fox and Falco are high tier in melee. Falco has abusive stuns and fox has an incredibly high skill ceiling.
Here's the specific match the Niro was talking about with Ganon vs Yoshi, you don't need high tier characters to have a hype set:
Spoiler: show
Although it's hard to appreciate some of the high tech things yoshi does without knowing about them before hand, like his ability to parry. Things like perfect wavelands are also very hard and risky to do. They're near frame perfect, if not actually frame perfect-- and if you miss they can easily open you up to a combo or cause you to fall you to your death.
Another leak that's a counter to the previous leak:
---I'm sure none of you know me, I used to hang out on the Brawl boards before release all the time. I never really posted much though, just followed the dojo hype train with everyone else around that time. Anyone that was around then knows there were legitimate leaks, but no one believed them at the time because of how crazy they seemed(wtf ROB?). Well there was a user in particular who leaked correct information that I managed to befriend around that time, this person is no longer active on gamefaqs, nor do they have plans to return.
I didn't befriend them right away, it took a bit of work, but it eventually got to a point where we would talk every now and then over AIM or Skype. I was mostly interested in their line of work, as at the time was aspiring to work in the video game business. After awhile we kinda fell out of touch, but I saw them on Skype today and figured I'd say hello and see if I could find any information out because I've noticed all these "leaks" lately around here and people going back and forth about them.
My friend wasn't particularly interested in sharing any information with gamefaqs, and told me gamefaqs wouldn't believe anything anyway. I agreed and asked if they would just answer a few questions at least, and this is what I gathered:
Ridley is not playable, he's a stage hazard.
King K. Rool is not playable.
Diddy is not partnered with Dixie.
Online will have way more options then Brawl, like being able to host rooms with your own item/rule set ups.
That's all the info I was able to get, I couldn't squeeze one new comer out sorry. I tried to get a Little Mac confirmation at least, but they wouldn't confirm or deny. Obviously I don't know if this information is legit, I could have been lied to very easily. My friend wasn't treated very well by the Brawl board users, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were just yanking my chain. This the first conversation I've had with them in like 2 years so take that for what it's worth.
New leak
"Alright, I'm not here to leak loads of information. I am just hear to get my message out. Over the past couple of days I've seen a few prediction rosters with 50+ characters and some that include impossible characters such as Geno or Goku. If you really believe that, then you should prepare yourself for a major disappointment.
The roster started around 50 characters, but it was trimmed down to 44, and then 42. Goku, Geno, and those sorts of characters were never even considered. There will only be 3 third parties. Don't ask me who, because I don't plan on losing my job anytime soon.
Ridley isn't playable. Neither is King K Rool. Sakurai is shooting for uniqueness. I'll use Rosalina (and Luma) as an example. She wasn't as requested as Bowser Jr. or Toad, yet she was the one that got in.
Don't expect every character to return. Sakurai has already said this, but some prediction rosters still have no cuts. As I previously stated, Sakurai is going for uniqueness, so don't expect R.O.B or Lucario to be getting the axe.
Anyhow, I won't plan on making any more posts as I don't plan to leak out the full game. You can ignore this and keep making your 55 character rosters, but don't say I didn't warn you. -Naryol"
Yea... I always assume these kind of leaks to be fact unless proof is given otherwise. There's generally about half a dozen or more of these things active at any one time.
Not surprised to see Ridley being a stage hazard only. But that 2nd quote made me facepalm if anyone seriously believed Goku would have a snowball's chance in hell of being in SSB.
