People who are in to smash will get smash, those who dont, wont. Is anyone not going to buy this game if ridley, chrom, or shulk dont appear?
I think it would be epic, that like three days before it's release, they release the final reveal video. People would freak the fuck out.

No, there is a "wrong time", especially when EVO is currently holding the largest Smash Melee tournament of the year this weekend (of which Nintendo is sponsoring and added to the tournament pot). Nintendo could have capitalized on this by raising awareness for the new game as well as hype and anticipation. Not only that, it would have gotten very significant media attention on virtually every video game website and blog as well as a few newspaper publications. It's just bad planning on their behalf. Releasing a reveal during the very next day is just silly.

It's not that I don't like FE but.. at this point there are 5 FE characters in the game. That's more than Pokemon and tied with Mario.
