Cannot clone boobs
Anyone saying Falco is a clone doesn't play Smash at a level where you're allowed to talk about mechanics. Sakurai included even if it is his game.
So many differences in Brawl, and while less differences are present in Melee there's still plenty different between Falco and Fox.
While he had key differences, he still very much fell under the category of a clone character since they shared quite a few moves.
Nintendo Canada Employee Implies Rayman Is Playable In Super Smash Bros Wii U
http://mynintendonews.com/2014/08/01...sh-bros-wii-u/Matt Ryan, who is in charge of Communications, Marketing and Partnerships at Nintendo of Canada, has mentioned in the recent video that Rayman will be playable in the upcoming Super Smash Bros game for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. You can hear his comments at the 1:50 mark in the video embedded above.
Hmm, it was odd how casual he said it
Probably meant Pacman or something, kinda sounds like he just messed up on a name.
Though I guess it could be he just slipped up and revealed a character.
Angry Birds in Smash 3DS, kinda
http://www.siliconera.com/2014/08/01...e-3ds-version/Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai revealed a new mini-game for the Nintendo 3DS version of the game last night. On Miiverse, Sakurai discussed a new feature called “Target Blast”.
Sakurai wrote: “What’s up with this bomb? This looks like the stadium for the Home-run Contest, but there’s no bat. Once you touch the bomb, it begins to count down. Give it enough damage and launch it at the right time…then once the bomb’s countdown hits zero…!!”
He continued: “…It goes BOOOOOM! Not only will the blast destroy targets, but it’ll also cause a chain reaction by using shattered walls and bomb blocks–all of which contributes to you getting a high score!!”
“This is a new activity that combines the concepts of Target Smash and the Home-run Contest—it’s called Target Blast! Your final score is the total you rack up over two rounds. Of course, your Target Blast scores contribute to your Global Smash Power, too.”

Pic of the day. In this Smash Bros. installment, this little guy is also making an appearance! I…don't know his name, but he's the Prince of the Sablé Kingdom. He's from the Game Boy game Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (translated as The Frog For Whom the Bell Tolls), which was only released in Japan.
Here's the trophy of the Sablé Prince. He transforms into a snake or a frog, and unloads multiple attacks on any opponent he catches. Keep attacking your foes when they're trapped in his dust cloud.
Pretty sure this is just an assist trophy at most if not part of a stage

Mii's can wear costumes to look like the other fighters
Has Meta Knight been confirmed yet?
I really don't care nor have I ever cared for Miis. I don't know why Nintendo markets Miis so much.
Because kids play on the WiiU and 3DS as much as us sad 20-30-40 something year olds, and they actually enjoy making their Miis... I know this from personal experience, my niece and nephew have like 3-4 Miis each.
Hopefully its now obvious why they might include Miis in some of their games, what with Nintendo being known as the more "Family friendly" or "Kid friendly" system.
When the Wii first came out, my friends and I (all in our late teens, early 20's at the time) probably spent more time making Mii's then playing any of the games on the Wii (Albeit, the only good game at the time was Wii Sports anyway >_>). Made some pretty good ones too lol (Michael Jackson, Conan O'Brien, etc, etc)
