I kinda have a hard time either way if the leak is real or fake.

If real: Then that means Sakurai took a lot of time to explain the reasoning behind including Lucina (and not Chrom, nor even having them be alt costumes of each other), but asterisking in that those that play similar would simply be alt costumes. Then he goes and adds Dark Pit, Wolf, and Dr. Mario to separate slots and further excludes Mewtwo and Ridley. Mewtwo's case wouldn't be very developmentally hard, Ridley may have been a challenge but most certainly would have played different. It really is sad that Metroid only truly gets 1 rep. I don't really mind clones in a "best of" game like this, but either have them or don't. Also: R.O.B.

If fake: I kind of like the creativity of including the Duck Hunt dog over Ice Climbers. Same mechanics with the Duck possibly, but enough of a variation to be interesting. Also if fake, stop teasing me with Shulk. He deserves to be in way more than Wolf, Dark Pit and Dr. Mario.

I'm more upset Dark Pit is taking up a slot on his own vs a Mewtwo or someone else. I'd be fine if he was a Pit alt who was differentiated in the "custom moves" area.

Him being included overall isn't shocking, youre right. If this is the cost of having Shulk though I consider it worth it.

Ganondorf is on those, between Toon Link and Shiek. Kind of dark and hard to see though.
