Sure, but what super exciting news do you expect is going to happen between now and the release? We basically know the full roster from all the leaks, there may be a few surprise characters but I kind of doubt it at this point. All that's really left is official reveals and little things like the slightly more thought involved pallet swaps. But that's apparently the worst thing that's ever been posted since I didn't see you explode over other pointless "pics of the day." We're a little over one week out from the Japanese release. I kinda doubt there's anything exciting left to reveal.

It's funny how when they did this with Brawl people were shitting themselves in anticipation every day/week. Now people bitch about it.

Funny how a handful of years changes the gaming community.

Because as all other things, the delivery of characters was new to the masses. Speculation and leaks were also insane as well. Most people who are anticipating Smash Wii were in their teens when Brawl was released too. Now no one cares about being teased, they want the information upfront ASAP. Or no information at all and being shocked during release (so far as costumes, trophies, assists, etc.) I believe in Elcura's case, he'll never be satisfied, because there's no real information that will come out that will satisfy short of an entirely new game mode that is hype inducing.

Another factor is the fact that between Smash 64 and Brawl, older & newer Nintendo IPs, and 3rd Party IPs who have strong ties to Nintendo, there is a gigantic pool of characters to choose from and everyone cannot be pleased on who Sakurai wants in. You can just see the anger seethe from people who didn't get Ice Climbers and instead got Duck Hunt. Or at the lack of Snake. Can't blame any of them, really -- the fear of the lack of Nintendo's DLC capabilities should scare any hopefuls.

Haven't I already said? Between trickles of nothing and actual nothing, I'd choose actual nothing. You can have your palette swap updates with assist trophies and elements in the background of a stage, but at least lump the updates together so it's significant or put it with something interesting. I don't know why constant updates with extremely minor shit is so amazing. It wasn't even amazing when Brawl was out (and coming from Melee, even more reason to be excited), why is it now?

It has nothing to do with wanting ALL THE INFORMATION NOW OMG or wanting absolutely nothing to be surprised during release (seriously? c'mon), but you can do better overall. The shit they did at E3 and actual character trailers are great, but most of these updates are lazy. At this point, what's left? They couldn't pace their shit so the updates left are going to be minor or unsurprising, but that totally affects how I see the game as a whole and whether I'll play or enjoy it.

But oops, I said something negative on a forum. My bad. I'll remember to keep it all sunshines and rainbows.

That's pretty cool. I recognize all the suits those color pallets are supposed to represent except for the pink one. I don't think Samus ever had a pink suit, might just be a regular old color swap.

Day late, but the pink one is supposed to be the Gravity Suit from Super Metroid.

I could see the pink one possibly being Gravity suit from Super Metroid. I think green one is actually supposed to be the Varia suit from Super Metroid. If not, they're just pink and green color variations.

I do remember Super Metroid's Gravity suit being the most pink of any of them.

Yeah, me too. Prime was definitely purple. And I think zero mission's was pink too. The greenish one I was thinking of from Super Metroid was the Power suit and it was more yellow than green. But not as yellow as later versions of it.

Anyone know what buttons specifically break out of Lucario's forward-B? When I'm on Snake, my friend often gets up to 50% on me just chaining it w/ itself. I just frantically mash the controller and sometimes I can get out of it early, but if I knew specifically what I was aiming for, I could probably do it on a regular basis, lol

Jumping late on the Bayonetta train, but if she made smash bros, i'd drop EVERY single character i have plans on playing with, and pick her up in a heartbeat, whether she would be low tier or not, i'd lose my shit to play w/ Bayonetta in a game she deserves to be in.

It's a command grab, you can't break it. You can only mash out of regular throws.
