Mega Man feels way too slow
Mega Man feels way too slow
The nair still has a sex kick like hitbox in the air though, but it's fairly tiny and does get slightly better KB than buster shots.
I think Ftilt is way better than it's being made out to be, but I'm still going to agree he's going to be rather low on the tier list.
I'm really impressed with how the game looks on the 3DS, from screenshots it didn't look amazing but is really nice in motion.
Controls are booty though, really need that C stick
I played the 3DS version at PAX and it was pretty fun. Not a small of small screens, but I wanted that Smash Bros towel bad.
Even with DPad movement, it will be very difficult to transition into c stick moves because theyre on the same side of the pad.
Jumps being moved to DPad would be awesome, letting you use the left side stick for movement and just learning to adapt essentially a 1+1 (direction + smash button) c stick while being able to control movement still.
It's really not that bad y'all. I'm having zero problems doing retreating fair/bairs. The only thing I feel like is truly being lost from the Cstick is Attack being tied to it instead of Smash, which makes two things happen:
1. Diagonals become neutral A (jabs on ground, nairs in air)
2. Down on Cstick no longer causes fast fall (walk off dairs without dying)
If anything, THAT's what I miss. Everything else, you can adapt but probably end up crushing your circle pad cover.
Main reason I'd want c-stick is for dash up smash/down smash or the quick forward smash
I'd like d-pad since I am paranoid about the stick breaking from all the news about it, though I am fairly gentle but quick with my use of the stick
It'll all be over soon! Only 1 and 1/2 months between 3ds and wii u, i really can't wait. I'm comfortable with the 3ds demo, so i can play it just fine when retail comes. It's just gonna suck unlocking everyone twice.
Btw is that release date of 11/21/14 100% true? I'm requesting that weekend off from work, gonna have 72 hours of smash at my place.
Couldn't you just take the 3DS to work with you? Its not like its a home console release. :3
That was my point though. You would stop having to move to use the c-stick because theyre both on the same side of the 3DS. Would leave you very vulnerable if you missed, slipped, etc.
Unless you're sitting it on a flat surface and using it like a full blown game pad. Which would just be weird.
Now that I think about it more, even jumps being moved to DPad would leave you in the same situation because then you couldn't fully control the direction of your jump. They really just a 2nd analog pad on the right side. Thank you Super 3DS.
How comfortable are the circle pad pros?
Got to play the demo on my friend's 3DS this weekend. I don't feel Megaman is so bad. Some of him moves seem kind of OP, like Sparkman's ability.
