7/10 is better than the 3/5 from GamesRadar at least?
or the 10/10 for 'nintendo' sites

MY BODY IS READY.
Is the Eshop midnight (local) release time for this game?
The pre-order page for Gamestop says 9am CST on the 3rd for digital download. Doesn't mean that's when it will go live on the e-shop but that's the only info I've seen so far that has any time listed for digital release. I guess it depends if there's a midnight release for the physical copy at stores or not.
On a side note, Amazon and Gamestop both list the WiiU version being released on 12/31/2014. I wonder if that's just a temp date or if it's really coming out on the last day of 2014 lol.
Playing the demo now; Did they weaken link's up-air? It failed to KO megaman at 136%
His dair also got hit pretty hard. I think I landed a kill with it at 135% but not before that.
Fsmash got buffed, Usmash buffed, I'm not sure if dtilt can spike anymore, bair seems a little harder to hit with but more knockback scaling, zair seems a little slower.
At least he doesn't have a completely abysmal recovery anymore... It's still not exactly good, but it's not garbage like his in Brawl...
Link's been my boy the entire time but I think I'm done with him for good. They just can't seem to get out of their own way when it comes to him. Being a "jack of all trades" with weapons isn't an excuse to be cumbersome and heavy as a brick.
At least from a Brawl perspective, Toon Link has the necessary weight to make all his options worthwhile. Link is just a sack of potatoes.
Did they say if you'd need multiple games to play local multiplayer?
I've forced myself to play Mega Man with the demo and I'm finally coming around to feeling like I can do something with him. It's still jarring because I'm used to playing Stock and not Time, but Hard Knuckling people into the ground after Top Spin sends them off-platform feels amazing. I just wish his forward-air felt like it did anything; Low knockback, medium-low damage, no smash power. Just seems to be there to annoy people more than anything.
Haven't played with humans to find out, either: Does Air Shooter pull people into the tornado and the AI is retarded? Or will human players just ride it for a second then dodge through it?

The video Meian just posted is probably the best known current way to use Rock overall.
Fair is wonderful. It comes out so damn quick and has a highly prized disjointed hitbox. Might not kill, might not wrack damage, but saves your ass and combos some chars off throws at low %s.
Bair and Dair are great offstage coverage options due to rock's average horizontal air speed and the range and threat level of both moves. Even Uair is a valid offstage option... It's basically Pikachu's vertical line coverage, offstage, and more deadly.
AI tries jumping out of Uair too often to its death--won't kill until 100++ on normal people.
Rock's still going to end up probably 2/3rds the way down the tier list. He's interesting but there's a lot of characters with better overall options.
iggy changed my point of view on megaman, holy shit that control
What benefit is there to preordering this game?
