Ended up picking a copy. Played with some friends. 90% of the match was everyone dodging around and using their shield, and the odd spurt of lag.

Shit gets pretty irritating when neither is able to land a smash attack on the other for a good solid minute, only little ranged pokes.

Someone did that to me on For Glory mode 1v1s yesterday after losing to me 3 times in a row.

After about a minute I started getting mad and decided to read rolls/spotdodges and nearly pulled off a JV3 stock.

This is at least 50% of my deaths with this character so far, but I just can't stop using the move, even though it's honestly not that good.

Little Mac has powerful ground moves, several moves with Super Armor, and that KO Punch is no joke. Terrible aerials (neutral air is good for comboing onto the ground) and terrible recovery is how they chose to balance it out. Side-B in general is decent if done well on the ground as an attack especially against projectiles as it jumps over them and has a slight invincibility frame.

A trick is if they go after you off the edge you could Counter to gain some extra distance but is risky

Sure np, I had played the hell out of the demo and this so far (besides past Smash games heh) so I just have that advantage. Sparring is good too for practice as well as any stuff online so let me know whenever you'd like to again.

That Duck Hunt fun fun but I can't really tell if they are good enough for competitive yet. Lots of traps and zoning but his triple jump is weird making me insanely vulnerable...
