In most cases a HD7950 represents better value than a gtx670. A decent 7950 can be overclocked past stock 670 performance. Consider this upgrade if you want to high grade past the gtx660 you picked.

Consider getting an SSD now or in the future. Outside of games, it'll be the most noticeable performance upgrade you can make.

That PSU could be better and not much more expensive. If you overclock (and you should), upgrade GPU or SLI (god forbid), slave multiple HDD's /whatever, you can run into issues.
Noted and thanks, for now trying my best to stay under 700 if I can, and don't plan to OC for now, if ever, but perhaps, as you say I should... idk, idk. I'll look at some more power supplies. I'm honestly not trying to push anything to the max, just want something decent, this laptop blows, but I appreciate the feedback!

What size SSD do you recommend?

Well then you are running the risk of the Neutrinos mutating and causing all sorts of havoc.

You don't need a huge one. You mostly just want the OS and bootables on it. Try to keep that expense around a hundred, or just worry about it later when you've got extra bank. About OCing: the idea is to get high end performance out of a mid range rig and save money. Neckbeards obsess about GHz and bench scores and shit, but I'm just saying look into OCing so you can get the most bang for your buck. What you can accomplish with a couple hundred bucks in hardware upgrades you can just as easily do with a modest OC on capable cheaper hardware.

    DO NOT get a 660.

660ti or an AMD Radeon 7850

PSU might be a little weak

Oh you were being serious, sorry. Yeah like these dude's said, windirstat, and system restore backups can eat space as well. There's that hibernate page file which takes up a lot of space too and that you don't need on a desktop but I forget how to get rid of that.

would it make sense to get a decent gpu now (I got gtx650ti) and overclock in a couple years when games are better rather than now when I can max out pretty much anything I'm playing these days (which isn't too much anyway)
