So other than the short playtime how do those actually playing it feel the game is?
I was fully expecting it to be the most likely to disappoint this year, but I'm open for opinions from non-youtubers.

The Dev says average 8-10 but can be 5 if you speed through on lowest difficulty and skip everything.
What I find disappointing is the lack of replayable content beyond a different difficulty setting or trophy hunting.
Yeah. That is disappointing. I won't buy it for 60. I only do that for certain special games. I'll eventually pick it up sub 30.
I need more PS4 games so impulse bought it on Amazon. Need something to do this weekend anyways.
Apparently the 5 hours is accurate and they aren't even fun 5 hours. Reviews are trashing it everywhere. Lol
188 6/10.
Reviews basically confirming what I think a lot of people assumed about this game. Nice graphics, and..... not much else.
Lol universally hated with a average rating of 5/10, The order is this years video game blunder. Can't wait to hear what bullshit the devs have to say about the game after defending all their awful decisions and the recent trash talking.

This is dissapointing. This just adds another asterisk to new big IPs attempting to try something new. If anything I was hoping this game would be successful because of this.
The concept even looked interesting (To me at least.)
new IPs shouldn't succeed if they're just a new label for the same old bullshit.
i had been saying from the beginning after seeing lots of video and then dumb gameplay where they watch things transform for 30seconds before they start firing that it was just a generic shooter game with a different theme. Looks like that's exactly what it lived up to. Still play it through once, but yeah...
The concept was interesting, they just mired it in Gears of War styled gameplay and went on about their cinematic experience and how 30fps was good.
It's not an asterisk against trying new things, it's an asterisk against repackaging the same old shit and telling your audience less is more.
I completely understand what you're saying and agree. They should keep trying new ideas and what not, but they(IPs) need to bring more to the table then what's presented in this game. I always look forward to hearing about a new game rather than Call of Duty 98: Armored Cat Edition or Assassin's Creed: Please Buy Me. But a game like this, or Evolve(DLC before 1 screenshot) deserve to fail.
