I picked Prishe. It was a toss up between her and Lilisette, but does Lilisette have her own moghouse statue? Didnt think so!
Arciela has potential but the Adoulin storyline hasn't progressed far enough to know her that well yet.

Picked Lilisette because I'd love to visit Lilith's world and see a destroyed main city. As unlikely as that is to happen.
They're prolly banking on people picking her so they can release Cait Sith and Atomos and be all "here's your favorite NPC quest!" -.-
Really interested in them following through with what they said a few months ago regarding doing an event every 11th for the entire year. Hopefully ones like the Aby one (Aug 11-Oct 11) don't count for each month they pass through. Haven't seen it mentioned, but that pic also looks very much like the Chocobo costume (on a Taru) that was in the .dats at the launch of Adoulin. I just hope I can finally buy the Moogle suit with these points. Wonder if they'll do a login event more often, can only imagine the legions of players with multiple mules/accounts that would keep them active only to login each day for the points.
I did Naja.
"A large scale quest line with a relevant level 99 reward in which you finally manage to find a way out of your long outstanding debt to Naja Salaheem without paying it."
im sure Shantotto will win, she always does. We definitely need more Shantotto storylines too since we don't have nearly enough of them.
#Raubahn2013
Shantotto is the best NPC, though. There isn't even any strong competition still alive....
Fenrirguy forever.
Never gotten the Shantotto hype. Probably because she's a Taru, so automatic -50 DKP for likeability.
I feel like they tried to "shantoto" every damn new NPC in Adoulin because just about every one acts like a jerk to you. I think the only one that treats you nicely is the inventors coalition leader taru. Strangely she stands out there for not being a dismissive douche. She's like the anti-shantoto.
I voted for Carbuncle cause fkya'll.
I wouldn't mind the Naja Questline though, Been in debt to her too long and i miss her.
Raubahn cause that motherfucker is a boss.
It's the combination of being a Blue Mage, being bald and refusing to die that makes him most potent.
I voted Shantotto and suggested they use her to explore the lore of PW and the sea/sky gods.
Surprised I could vote as I haven't had a subscription in months.
It's impossible for us to get a quest that would actually be interesting because it would probably require that an unpopular NPC to win, by virtue of the fact that the ones with no/little story behind them are the ones that actually need it.
Of course, I'm probably one of the few people who thinks there's never really been an interesting NPC character in XI.
Definitely needs more harem ending
Dahaaba could have a great story. Always being kidnapped, yet one of the first rescued. Then all of sudden, everybody just stopped caring about her.
Voted Lehko. He basically disappears after WotG ends and it might be interesting to learn where he traveled to.
Thought of these when I saw the NPC popularity contest...

If I hadn't voted for Davilles it would had been Karaha-Baruha or some other Crystal War legend. Oh gods should had voted for Rongelouts, just to get a backstory on why he's such a bitter bastard.
And hell no, no Shantotto.. she's awesome but she's already in eeeverything, including her very own expansion. Serpent generals were out for similar reason.. they all got their quests already.
Agreed. As much as shantotto is attitude dipped in awesome sauce, she's already in so many quests and missions. 3 expansions have storylines that include her (and she has her own add-on scenario).
There are a lot of other npcs with great potential to shine but for some their awesomeness lies in the mystery of their character origins. I have a lot of personal faves in the crystal war era if only because it was such an eventful period in Canadian history. I probably woulda picked Klara or Cornelia Karst if I didn't already choose Lion.
I'm still interested in knowing what the hell Aldo did after he escaped Tavnazia, something that should've come with ACP but gave us an awful plot that added insult to injury with a big reset button at the end.
