I completed a Duty Finder for Ifrit before it went down.

Some quick answers:

1) only party leader can register for Duty Finder
2) party members are automatically registered for DF when party leader registers
3) there is effectively a "lobby area" (starting circle) when you enter, and duty does not start until someone leaves that circle (didn't see if there was a "lobby time limit", though)

This has always been there for the Ifrit fight in ARR, it does not specifically appear because of the duty finder.

Duty starts when everyone finishes watching the CS. And that's what the circle is for.

Okay well, I guess Midgardsormr is the only server where Duty Finder wasn't working properly. Every time I tried it kept saying that the duty finder server is not working and to try again later.

I used it on Midgard the second the servers were up.

Thanks when my friend log i'll do a test, like I regsiter for Duty finder (solo) then i party up with my friend (not registered) and see what it will do

Me and a friend joined duty finder for halatali and played with 2 awesome DDs.
They fixed the final boss finally, it's not a COMPLETE joke now but it's still pretty easy.

Duty Finder:

You cannot boot people, you cannot change leader, you cannot leave group. Pretty much nothing from the party menu worked.

The only way people can leave is by hitting the duty finder menu and clicking leave.

If someone just "dc's" or closes out of the game then they are stuck in your party and you cannot remove them or replace them. Only choice is for the remaining members to leave through duty finder.

If you are in party only the leader can DF and everyone is in it
If someone doesn<T meet the requirements like job or access no one can DF
IF you DF solo then join a party you have to start a new DF

Also Ifrit DF is bugged atm I was in Uldah and it sent me to drybone after win

), in the Quicksand in Ul'dar? heard it last beta but just dismissed it as me going insane but definitely heard it again today
