I had a similar problem when I was trying to get an iNPiN PS2->PS3 adaptor to work correctly on PC. I used some third-party drivers (might have been MotionInJoy, don't remember) and it had some crazy button mappings. The problem was not really that the buttons were mapped "wrong" (because you can just restart the configuration) but that the buttons would change between reboots. I finally gave up on it.
With all the skill speed buffs on PGL I've gotten from lv30ish GC gear it's hard to keep GLII up full time and not run out of TP after like 3 minutes.
It's doable, but it gets pretty close sometimes.
Twin snakes fo' lyfe.
Especially after lv25
Also the animation is far superior.
For Hume F at least.
Went into Beta forums to report some stuff, ended up in the Graphics feedback for some reason. Holy shit they are still bitching about grass.
This brings up an interesting point.
Skillspeed is completely worthless if it doesnt also increase TP regeneration rate. Eventually, for long fights you'll be slowed down by TP, not the GCD. If skillspeed only impacts the GCD then that just means youll run out of TP sooner. You wont actually be doing any more attacks in the long run. The only solution to this is to have the TP regeneration tics be effected by skillspeed as well.
Or have TP not auto regenerate during battle and be based off of auto-attacks. Then turn skill speed into Haste (which is already a status effect that some monsters use ie. Spriggans) and have it affect auto attack speed as well. That way auto attack has a purpose besides just bonus DoT while you are spamming skills and would fix skill speed being a detriment instead of a boon.
Yessssssssssss
Edit: although, having TP regen out of battle is still nice.
Yeah as it currently is without TP regen buffs I'm already hitting a wall. When I'm tanking on PGL during fates (trying to piss lower lv GLA off) I keep spamming my combo and run out of TP like halfway through on most of the lv26+ fates.
^ Either of those are considerations, because you're limited by TP in higher levels. I love long fights because I start getting involved in the music and scene and battle and all, but running low on TP with Pug means slowing your skills down to like, one every 4.5 seconds; just enough to keep a loose rotation of 1-5-3 to keep GL and your TS buffs active.
Edit: Basically seconded Sath.
