You do with party commands which is kind of annoying. I.e. /pcmd add "Melyn Okan"

Oh! Another annoying thing about that is why the hell does there need to be a confirmation box after a text command like that....

Make an EU account on PSN, download it, then swap to original PSN.

I originally got it for a friend of mine and making one square-enix account confused him enough. I'd rather not make him do it again and confuse him more.

Good thing you just need to make a PSN EU account to just dl the client like Amiricle just said, then link it to the already created SE account.

Have you figured out whether or not there's a command to disband a party, or leave it?

There was one that goes to last person you messaged too, I think it was Alt+T, if not just check hotkeys and it'll show command for it.

Duty Finder looks to be more awesome than advertised.

Some notable mentions:
-Can seek on any job and then change class (need to change back to join)
-Confirmation menu asking you if you wanna join a party
-Can search and join parties mid-dungeon
-Can join party anywhere in the world and it will return you to the exact same spot
