I really like the "normal" looking character designs. I think the characters look very pretty without all the strange highlights and face paint.

Same here, I kinda of went normal... ish but undecided on my miqo'te look... after actually spending time messing with it, its hard to tell what you want ;/ Good thing character creator is coming out, can spend many hours messing with it!

I tried to make my Miqo'te normalish. I like this face, since it has the least over-the-top markings. I went a little too heavy on the blush, so I'll fix that. I'm hoping for more hairstyles. I didn't want long, and the shaggy look was the shortest. I kinda want to see the shaved head or the faux-mohawk that midlanders get.

Personally not sure what I'll be making, will need the character creator to sit and mess around with, as I only recently spent time to mess with it because I mostly wanted to play the game when it came out

Yeah I like more realistic looking characters, although they are often seen as being a bit boring or plain. Here's my legacy character, which I only made slight changes to (lightened skin and hair, etc).

Image goes 1.0 > 1.0 character in 2.0 > character planned for release. It's kind of weird seeing the different graphics side by side; the noses look very different due to shading or something.

Flashy for the sake of flashy is bad taste. Love normal looking characters. They are easier on the eyes. I love it Roller.
