Is there a way to trade fish? Still no luck on catching a Char here, I just keep getting river fish instead from my upstream waterfall (zero fish after at the one near the ocean).

[EDIT] And now I just caught a char.....from the lower waterfall........from trying to nab a fish from the top of it.

I noticed that to. I caught a char near the bottom waterfall, but it didn't even look remotely close to the waterfall if you ask me.

Still wish the store would sell an Axe so I can get a stump made for the beetle.

Gaaah, every time i see these stupid animals i hate i twack em with my net three times and push them around till they get mad, decline any requests that don't involve delivering something to someone else, and i even push them into pit traps. yet still they happily refuse to move out! Do i need to visit another town or something to trigger the move? also, what happens to their houses afterward? a couple of the bastards built right next to me, and one of them killed a peach sapling i was growing too. You will eventually gain access to an NPC that can store one of each type of gyroid for you... in case you want to hang on for that...

So I'm wondering if I'm losing my mind, my ds is wack, or the game is bugging. (Or all of above)

I'm getting a weird pulsing lighting effect on the game. As if it pulsates brighter every 5 sec or so. Even indoors. None of my other games do it, just ac. Anyone else get that?

If it's not this, turn off power saver under the 3DS brightness settings.

The game's UI kinda mucks with whatever code the 3DS uses in power-saving mode to dynamically adjust brightness.

Is there a reason my island resort has never stopped having the stupid Club Tortimer membership taking up a space on the for-sale table? I bought it a long time ago and it's been in the right-most spot every single day so far. I went to my friend's island recently and she didn't have it up on her table (and she wasn't even a member yet). Also, I have yet to see a damn Hibiscus bush for sale on my island either. I've only seen so far: Aloha Shirts, Aloha Shorts, Wetsuit (Black with Yellow Anchor), Snorkel Mask, Pirate Hat, Captain Hat, Straw Hat, and Mermaid Wallpaper.

edit: It just dawned on me that it loads a different set of 3 items every time you visit an island on multiplayer and the Club Tortimer membership is never for sale during multiplayer. I could waste a lot of money revisiting the island like this just to hope a decent-looking wetsuit loads (I hate the black one). Super easy way of collecting the Mermaid set, apparently.

I would also think that it is it Tekki. Both my daughter and I thought we were going insane the first time we noticed it. Definitely lightning. Subtle, but there it is.

Yeah, I think the membership is always there. I have only ever had the Membership in the far right and two other items cycling each day on its left. Guessing that is just how it is.

As for the Club Tortimer, it just sucks because you a) will run into griefers that are 'talking' to the girl at the desk forever, and you are unable to leave forcing you to power off the 3DS to get out, and b) it is kind of a dick move to just pop in and right out of the Club. The second part though, seems like pretty much everyone expects this as it is what everyone does and why it is rare to ever find an island with more than two players on it.

I gave up after a few pieces of Mermaid because I felt like a jerk lol. I get there and people want to go on tours or something, then I just buy and bail. Got old.
