Holy shit. I am SO SORRY if I misinformed anyone. I saw them in the catalog at a glance as I was ordering other items and just assumed they were buyable.

It is a shopping catalog. To buy items from. What the fuck are they in there for if you can't "shop" for them. So stupid. If the point is to show what you have collected, then make tabs in the Encyclopedia...

Yeah, AC is kind of a screw in that area. They'll show stuff on the catalog even if you can't order them.

What's the most efficient way of getting bells? The game is turning into a chore for me in that regard, getting a bigger house or some town projects take 350-500k+ and going back and forth to the island to catch bugs/fish is getting old very fast, to the point I'm losing interest in the game because that's what I find I'm doing most of the time I'm playing... If I only catch bugs/fish worth 2k+ it can take 1h+ to fill the basket but I make 150-200k each trip, If I catch everything it takes less time but I also make way less, in the end though, it's boring as hell and feels like a chore, there has to be some other way to make money.

Beetles on the Island or luck out on the Stalk Market. Those are the options you have really. Though I suppose some people offer a bit silly prices on trade forums for some items.

Bleh, I think I'll drop the game for now then, as fun as it can be wandering around town doing stuff for the neighbors and pimpin' your house, farming bells is just way too boring and I need 1.2m to progress (500k house, 725k Town project), plus I have 999, VLR and Ghost Trick on my back log and Project X Zone/Mario & Luigi Dream is coming out this week/next week.

Wish there was a way to get them that was so boring and time consuming...

Exactly what I do as well. Since beetles aren't really around until 5pm on the island, I will just head there at night when I am watching a show. It is so mindless that you can practically do it with your eyes closed (except not, since the beetles will then fly away forever). Boring, but I now have 3 of the five extra rooms fully expanded. So that means just 2.2 million more and I will have a fully expanded house. Then I can focus on other things like Dream Suite, Resetti, etc.

There are rewards for having 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 million bells in your ATM... can't imagine getting some of those without winning big on the Stalk Market.

That said, my prices this week for turnips so far - 54, 59, 56, and 51. Kill me.

Exactly what I do. I make 500k to 1.2m on average a night. Pop in movie, capture beetles. Made super bank this morning cashing in my beetles when retail was paying bonuses on 2 beetles. 750k

Also, camper is giving me snap judgement while he is here, good bye bells, hello 1000 pieces of furniture...

I was pissed that I finally got an awesome animal camping out (Fang the wolf) but my town had just become 10/10 with nothing but retarded animals that I want to leave... so he was only good for wasting all my bells on shit furniture.

If bells are becoming a chore, just don't do it. do other stuff on your game, and let the bells come naturally from other activities. Sure it will be slower, but at least you wont drive yourself mad.

Right now I'm doing bugs on the island for money, every few days my perfect cherries are up and I'll bring them to another town for a big chunk of change. At the moment I'm really pushing as many expansions and town improvements but once those get set I'll play the stalk market. We have an email list at work so if someone's town is buying turnips for a lot we'll all head there!

Can't believe the difficulty I'm having optaining a Neutral Wall. I've been 12/13 on the Minimalist set before I completed any others and now I'm @9 full sets. Had three trades fall through where the guys disappeared durign negotiation. Buh.

Anyways, I'll trade a full series that I own for one that I don't. I'm also buying a Neutral Wall and Kiddie Wall/Floor to complete those sets. I can offer...
