I've been plagued by a weird and, what feels like ungoogle-able problem as of late. Having a hard time even describing the problem, much less coming up with what is causing it.
Ever since I built my new PC (about 2 weeks ago), I've occasionally had these little micro-freezes during some videos and streams (mainly see it on youtube and twitch), during which the the sound starts to buzz/loop/freeze in an annoying way. I'm not sure the best way to describe it. In any case, it seems to last for only a split-second before returning to normal behavior.
It's actually quite rare overall, to the point where I could probably live with it, but it's bugging me that I can't pinpoint what is causing it. I've tried reinstalling audio and video drivers, turning off display sleeping, disabling hardware acceleration in flash settings, and probably more things I'm forgetting about.
Hoping someone else immediately recognizes what I'm talking about, because I'm horrible at explaining it.
edit: Hmm, after doing a lot of research on DPC stuff it seems it may have actually been either lan or usb driver somehow. I ended up just re-installing pretty much every driver I could get my hands on and haven't had any problems so far so hopefully it is fixed.
