If I'm not mistaken, the answer to the web shooter question was that it's not pressure in and of itself that sends out the web, but a quick tap or series of taps, like a pass code. As for the sticking, the answer USED to be that his costume was made of ultra-thin material that didn't interfere with his sticking (and Spider-Man is frequently depicted as miserable during winter in New York) but now that he wears light armor similar to what Superior Spider-Man used I'm not sure.

I thought the palm thing had to do with the pressure he applies to the trigger -- the reason he shoots using his middle and ring finger was to apply a specific pressure.

I think Zealot is on course with the sticking part. I believe his current suit is made of unstable particles, which would afford him the added protection while still allowing the sticky.

We've seen random people use the webshooters with little explanation before, so I don't think it's something like specific pressure or a series. I'd just chalk it up to a writing loophole that's never been explained.
