Shocker's costume in the comics would look fucking ridiculous if they translated it straight over. That'd a really good adaptation of it.

Shocker looks good. Wasn't Vulture pretty much confirmed already? I have faith in Tom's performance, but Tony Stark, Spidey, new Aunt May, new MJ, Vulture, AND Shocker is a bit much

True, but you know they'll still need to do a little scene with his origins. Some Aunt May, and possible Uncle Ben flashbacks to get this story a bit more established. Hopefully a montage during the opening credits.
