... damn it
It may not be Boston Market, but if you specifically want some kind of meat with mashed potatoes, why don't you go to Tony Roma's Okinawa location?
oh, it is so awful in comparison to back in the states. i've been =(
Clearly, we will have to find you another place.
Supposedly, there are some excellent Peruvian and Mexican places in Okinawa that have great rotisserie chicken, though it's obviously going to have a different flavor. One of the Peruvian places is owned by a Japanese couple that actually served such food elsewhere, and then moved back to Japan. I guess I'll have to do some more looking...
the area around where are the bases are tend to have the best cuisine, as far as i've found. I've driven all over with friends looking for decent food, lol.
What American-themed places have you already been to? Do you remember their names?
american'themed, no. i tend to not going to many of them. but the area around that tony roma's is SPRINKLED with them. They call the area American Village, heh
Yeah. All the foreigners tend to find a place to bunch up at, much like Little Tokyo, Koreatown, etc., here in the US, but you didn't need me to tell you that.
One place that looks good is evidently the Rose Garden, which doesn't just serve breakfast, though that's what the review raves about. Their own website is here.
As for that reviewer site, they do seem to be overly positive, but they're not the only ones who praised Rose Garden, and apparently, the owners of that place also own this one, which serves more general American junk food fare. Still not Boston Market, but at least something more close to home.
When you cruise around looking for places, do you mostly just look, or do you already read the English publications to try to find places? I may just be recommending things you've already seen mentioned.
I was taken to Rose Garden my first week here, lol. Their breakfast is fucking god-tier. Their italian leaves some to be desired, but is still pretty solid. My LT keeps finding reasons for us both to be out of work so we can go there, heh. I may have to check that American Kitchen out, though
