    Comcast throttling twitch streams?

Just moved and had to switch to Comcast.

    Speeds: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2794996673.png

Before I was running on TWC with 20 down and 1 upload. I could watch 1080+ streams on twitch fine.

Now that I have moved and switched ISP, I can't watch 720+ streams without it stuttering and lagging to save my life.

    My computer specs are fine
    i5-3570k
    Nvidia 680

    Anyone have any idea?

It is throttling, and afaik there's not much you can do to fix it unless there's another provider you can hop to. The big culprits in this are the ISPs without competition so they can get away with criminal bandwidth caps and overcharging for minimal speeds, but you have nothing else to do.

See the Twitch team's response to the issue. Time Warner is doing it too apparently in some areas.

Yeah, TWC was doing it where I used to live, but I managed to get around it with a guide.

    Sad day, oh well
