Oh the feels for that story. Mooney did a good job relating that to his own past.

Nothing 100% confirmed, but they've said that they have their 2 buyouts lined up,and Horcoff/Hemsky will not be included in that. They want to try and get deals done for them instead. No GM in their right mind would trade anything of any value in return for either of them.
But yeah, why would you buyout 1.2m when there's 2 players at 5m+ that are more useless?
Well, there's my answer about Alfredsson(possibly a little late), he's going to continue to play.
In confirmed buyout stuff, Brad Richards is safe
I bet they're hoping Richards has a resurgence with AV. I am hoping that too!
nooooooooooooooo not Halak KEEP YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF OF HIM HOLMGREM
HALAK PURSUING HALAK HOLMGREM! HALAK IT ALREADY
I think people are glossing over the funniest part of that article.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAJaroslav Halak, who lost the starter’s job to Brian Elliott this past season.
Probably late again
Spoiler: show
On Richards:
I'm not against giving him a second chance and seeing how he reacts to being in a new more offensive system. If he still is not up to snuff, we still have our compliance buyout next year.
All this means is that we will not be signing a free agent or making a big trade which I'm ok with. Next years RFAs will be resigned under a new salary cap (likely back to 70M) and this years RFAs will not be seeing exponential raises.
Hank already makes 6.875M a season, signing an extension this off season northwards of the 7.8M that he will probably receive will once again not take effect until next offseason when the cap will raise. Alot of rangers fans seem to forget this.
We should have no issue resigning Hagelin, Stepan, and McDonagh because they have no leverage whatsoever. I feel that McDonagh will get a mirror deal to the one Voynov received earlier this month.
That will bring our capspace for this coming season down to 10M
Stepan will likely receive somewhere in the area of 3.75M per season, which leaves us at 6-7M.
Hagelin will not receive more then 2.5M which will bring us down to 4-5M remaining.
Zuccarello can be resigned here for probably 1.75-2M per season.
The only issue that arises from this situation is not being able to sign Ryan Clowe, unless he takes a paycut (which he wont) but I'm not sure I want Mr. Concussion back anyway.
So yeah, sorry for the wall of text.
Richards returning definitely means Clowe is gone. Which is probably a good thing considering he's looking for a long term deal. Not worth it considering we'd have to give up another 2nd round pick if we re-signed him as well.
Well that was by far, an awesome awesome time. I will be posting pictures and video later that I took, for now I am eating and taking a nap since I woke up at 5 am to get ready to hop on a train and go to the parade. Was a lot better organized than 2010, Crow was the best, though a lot of them seemed wasted. Going back to further points too, I agree that they purposely had Shaw be clean and then let someone else come in dropping bombs that isn't expected. Also as perfect as the parade was weather wise, it is now monsooning again lol.
Also the crowd shot overhead showing the mass numbers extending back was right by my location, we zoomed in on it on my friend's phone and actually found us, I'll see if I can locate us on the pc version lol
Also, Brodeur won the NHL 14 cover.
Oh was it? I honestly hadn't paid attention to anything at all with that. LOL
They just had Cabbie do the unveiling on TSN with Brodeur there and stuff
