WE SHOULD TRADE KESLER
WE SHOULD TRADE KESLER
Well, center is one of the most important positions. SJ, LA, PIT, BOS are the deepest in the league at center off the top of my head.

Sources tell TSN Lecavalier camp has met with Dallas, St. Louis, Philli and Montreal with more to come tonite.
Been running around all day today since 7AM. Canada Day preparation, Moms birthday the same day, Draft Party tomorrow, helped a buddy negotiate a fully loaded Santa Fe to the tits for $250/month (includes full maintenance and protection for 7 years), built a fire pit in the backyard, gave the dog a haircut and bath. And now gotta get ready for a movie get together. Someone Coles notes me trade stuff.

Lecavalier meeting with Anaheim now, Detroit and Toronto to come still tonite.
Mojo should be a good deal since he is a RFA, Alzner will have to get paid a little bit though so we can sign him after this deal. Otherwise, it's good that we don't have a bunch of players tied up in Philly-esque deals. Green should take a pay cut next deal, unless he is really back to top notch scoring form(I didn't like that they gave him 6m+ this contract but w/e).
Poti is good riddance, sucks he was injured so long because he was solid but he is nothing good anymore. I'm not so found of Ribs after he didn't do jack in the playoffs, so unless he takes less then 5m, bye!
I think we'll be quiet this off-season and look to next for a big player. Laich will be second line Center probably, with Brouwer. Erat/MoJo will swap first/second lines to see who is best there but I bet it stays MoJo if he plays like he did there during the season. Wilson will probably be up there all year on 3/4 lines and next year Kuznetsov will finally be here.
So all this USA talk gets me thinking of what the roster will look like. Im thinking something like
Parise-Pavelski-Kane
Ryan-Kesler-Kessel
Brown-Stephan-Callahan
Van Riemsdyk-Backes-Galchenyuk
Suter-Yandle
Shattenkirk-Johnson
Carlson-McDonagh
Quick
Howard
Anderson
This is hard though because I see other guys with a good chance like Wheeler, Pacioretty, Oshie, Pominville and Saad for forwards and guys like Byfuglien, Goligoski , Martin, Bogosian, Orpik, and Greene for defense
Then there is always Ryan Miller for goaltending.
Hmm, who would you guys pick?
All of these ridiculous rumors are going to make the actual trades really disappointing.
ffffffff I hate this military time thing.
Do you guys need me to announce any picks at the podium tomorrow @VanCanucks ?
I would be shocked if Galchenyuk made camp, let alone the team. 4-8 years from now ok. Not this next one. Can't see howard making it either. Eric Johnson isn't as good as he was several years ago, development REALLY stunted. Yandle might be too small/offensive-only to get the nod in international play.
Agreed, replace Galy with TJ Oshie or Patches.
Hopefully tomorrow is a fun day. Today turned into a snoozer. Of course, we have 2 showings on our house tomorrow, so Im gonna miss some of it =(
Johnson was Jack Johnson, not Erik. Galchenyuk might be an an extra roster spot just to get the experience but yeah, maybe to young to this year.
Phoneix seems to have signed Mike Smith for 6 years, 5.7 million a year. Not bad but I still think he was a one year wonder.
Also Dupuis is likely to test free agency
God bless these buyouts for making what would have been a pretty weak summer of free agents into this.
