wat. Shinkaruk is really small and the reson he dropped is probably because teams are unsure if his body will hold up at NHL level, we don't need MP85 #2. I'm fine with Burakovsky, he is Top 10 talent that fell to the bottom of the first. Comparably, he is like Bo Harvat but with a higher ceiling. Harvat has been more consistent so far but Burakovsky could be better.


I personally wanted JT Compher who looks like a Ryan Callahan type with better offensive potential. Something the Caps could definatley use and I bet Buffalo will love him one day.


also, Caps have drafted some good speed guys so far.

Yikes. That really sucks, because I love Skinner. The shortened off-season isn't likely to do him any favours either.

Well, technically the Canes off-season has been about normal as they were done early.

Yea, sounds like they were talking to Vancouver for the #9 but that would have cost way too much, I'm glad they didn't. They would have traded down if Burakovsky hadn't been on the board anymore as well.

Sanford also has a ton of talent but is really raw, pretty good pick-up there.

Man, sifting through the shit on hfboards is so terrible. So many people pissed that Schultz hasn't been traded yet, or that we didn't trade into the Top10, I don't think they understand we would have to give other things up to get rid of Schultz because nobody is going to give us shit for him and trading into the Top 10 would have been stupid.

GMGM is really good at drafting imo, idk why people shit on his picks when we consistently get great players. Most of the team are players we drafted.
