Now that we've started the rebuild and Feaster can actually shape the team as he sees fit, he's been doing a much better job. Before he had to deal with the top brass demanding that our mediocre team be a playoff team and as a result he has had to make some bad trades and signings to try and salvage the team. Where we are now and where we can potentially go, I'm quite optimistic

So I guess one of provisions of the new Coyotes agreement is that if they lose $50M over the next five years they can still get relocated by the owners, and the only reason this is notable to me is me imagining the hockey version of the plot from Major League happening in the 2018-2019 season

Also we have a top four of Bieksa, Hamhuis, Garrison, and Edler (who by all accounts could get traded) all being paid between 4.5 - 5 mil. We don't need a third pair guy with Ballard's contract. Gotta re-sign Tanev who is a RFA so he'll probably get 1.8 or something. Plus the young college kid Corrado for 500k. Pick up a scrub 7th defenseman on FA and thats the Canucks d-corps this season.
