It's pretty dumb, but it's par for the course. When Kessel went to Toronto, you'd think the Bruins succeeded in getting Hitler off their team by the way the media talked about him. Boston media, and often the teams themselves feed into it, rip everyone that leaves whether via free agency or trade. There are occasionally Sox players that get a good write-up on their way out of town, but that happens very infrequently.

I've been in XIV 2.0 since Alpha; I don't play the Beta much anymore outside of checking out the new job mechanics occasionally. Once progress is kept in Phase 4, I'll start playing a lot.

What no BG hockey thread linkshell?

I sent a PM out in late June to ~15 people who post in this thread a lot and seemed like they might be playing XIV. I will going to Hyperion with my old LS and it seems that most of the HACKEY FRIEND ALLIANCE OF DOOM will be going to Hyperion as well, except for Izzy (fix this fail Sargantanas decision Izzy!). Grey Jorildyn (Rags fan who posts here occasionally) is the leader, but it's a fairly serious endgame posse and a lot of the hackey friends did not seem to be too interested in it. So once Phase 4 starts, I am going to make a social shell on Hyperion for anyone who wants to join. XIV's linkshell system is pretty friendly towards social shells; you can see the chat from all shells at the same time (and filter as well if you wish). As we get closer to Phase 4 (my guess is Friday 7/26), I'll post a reminder; let me know if you have questions.

Also taking social shell name suggestions. Name is currently IZZY SUCKS until usurped by a better name including MAF and beach balls.
