Anyone experiencing sound distortion when the window is maxed out? My monitor is 2560x1440 though so that might be somewhat of a cause. Putting it back to original seems to make it go away.

Oh, anyone tried to run it on a netbook of any sort? I was wondering what the performance is like.

trying out FFT on this right now and i'm blown away at how fast it runs on my shitty-ass laptop (which has trouble emulating a lot of DS games smoothly). graphically everything looks great, the sound is kinda janky though. there's a delay effect on some of the instrument tracks, and it seems like the volume isn't decaying appropriately, so certain tracks will effectively have a note held (which overlaps with other notes on the same track, which makes for some pretty weird-sounding phrases). don't know if it's a config or a compatibility issue, this is all running off of whatever settings are present on a fresh install. gonna dig around in the config in a bit.

very impressed so far though.

Has anyone tried FF Type-0 yet? The website says playable, but exactly how playable is it?

Last I checked only the menu and basic functions for battle and items were translated. Basically everything but dialogue.

Can you give me your CPU, RAM and GPU? And laptop model. I know it seems it runs fine on low spec stuff, but I just want a guage.

I can confirm Dissida 1 works fine, well, I played 2 battles and moved on. There wasn't an opening FMV though, or I didn't go far enough.

Dissidia 012 plays ok on it, sound distortions occur but its not bad (you need to download the codec thing to get music to play)

Tekken works but you would need to enable frame skip as its quite sluggish without it.

absolutely. it's an HP G42, phenom 2 N640, radeon mobility 4200, 4GB RAM. alternatively, the cheapest thing they had at my local best buy 2 years ago when my desktop shit the bed and i needed a same-day replacement, haha.

oh, anyone having sound issues, be sure to go into audio settings and have it download the ATRAC decoder plugin, otherwise you'll be missing BGM and FMV audio tracks from a lot of games. ATRAC is sony's proprietary audio compression format, which afaik has no publicly available decoder; they didn't include the plugin in the stock installation because it might be based on stolen/leaked code and thus is legally questionable.

i tried out crisis core as well yesterday, field scenes run very smoothly, combat and cutscenes were showing some FPS dips if there was a lot going on, but i haven't seen it go below 40-45 so far. mostly it's been pegged at 60 for me.
