When I first started, it was with the ps2 release, and I knew some people who had been playing since the pc release. One of which was a galka drg, who refused to buy a chocobo because of how "expensive" they were. He literally walked everywhere. He lasted until the penta thrust nerf and then said "fuck this game"

First or second day of the game me and some random were trying to head to Kon. Highlands for that scale armor quest. Talking about gear and stuff he says "oh hey I have an axe im not using you can have it"

We spend like 5 minutes trying to figure out how to trade, he finally says "I think I need to drop it and you can pick it up"

I spend 5 minutes trying to find an axe on the ground.

Seriously. I was in one JP party and they took me beneath the dungeons in San'Doria to fight slimes and it was amazing XP. I think I gained like 4-5 levels in a couple hours and we ended up moving to another camp.
